Software nightmare

A few days ago my blog software crashed. Apparently the server on which the software is hosted had a bad hard drive. The last eight or nine blogs I posted were corrupted and lost. Fortunately, I was able to retrieve all but the last two, which were lost permanently, or at least until I rewrite them.
The owners of the server have gotten a brand new hard drive, have set up a backup program, and assure me this won’t happen again.
If any readers of this blog have sent in comments over the past 4 or 5 days, be aware that those too were lost.
While all this has been going on I have been on the road and have been dealing with it all via long distance. I had intended to blog a number of posts in advance so that the blog would continue to have entries while I was gone, but this nightmare has foiled all that.
I’ll try to post a little while traveling, but will get back to it in earnest in a few days.
