In case you’re just dropping in after not being on the site for a while, you’ll notice a different look.  I’ve moved the site to a different hosting service and a different theme.  It’s going to take a while for me to update everything here, but all the posts are available.  You may have to use the search function to find them. Some of the graphics haven’t transferred, so there are a bunch of broken links.  I’ve set myself the task of tracking them down and fixing them, but it isn’t going to happen overnight.  Please be patient.

  1. I would love a newsletter of interesting, eclectic topics from you, I don't care if there isn't any nutritinal nor medical content ( but it would be welcomed if included).

As for which day to send it, I have no preference.

I'm looking forward to my first newsletter!

  2. Yes, I'm happy to receive a newsletter and any day is fine. Good to hear you're returning to blogging, I've been having withdrawal symptoms! ????

If I might suggest a suitable topic for future posts I'd like to see your opinion on ways to prevent the physical deterioration that afflicts so many in their old age, particularly the ravages of Alzheimer's. Having had to deal with the health problems of my elderly parents and particularly the memory loss that indicates early stage AD, I am acutely aware of the need to prevent that happening to me. I'm sure many of your readers are in the same boat. On a related note I've been reading about anti-senescence strategies as a way to combat the diseases of old age. Sounds promising but most of the treatments seem to be unavailable to the public at the moment.

Any update on how PP 2.0 is coming along?

  3. Hi Doc

As alluded to above, I'm pleased that the search engine is working. I seem to recall in recent years as the site has been revampedundefinedredone that it was a bit inconsistent.

    It all looks great too.

Using the search engine has prompted me to ask this question but why is no year given? The day and month are provided but no year.

Dates was part of the feedback covered in the comments in Jan 2020 ("You realize you haven't…" ).

It's just a minor bit of feedback but wouldn't it have been possible to put in the day, month and year?

    1. It’s weird. It’s just how the theme that runs the site works. You can always figure the year by looking at the first comment, which does have the date including the year and always goes up the same day the post does.
