If I’m going to show the screw up, I’ve got to show Miss South Carolina answering for herself. It’s only fair.
And, I’ve got to hand it to the hosts of the Today show, who can be real swine, for helping this young lady redeem herself and bolster her self esteem. She still drives me crazy with her nasal teen speak (why do they do that?) that I trust she will grow out of. And her answer to the same question was a little better after having had time to reflect on it. Not brilliant, mind you, but a lot better. I’m glad the Today show gave her the opportunity to show herself in a better light.
