A copy of the most recent US Weekly fell into my hands today. The cover story is about the summer diet secrets of the stars. Unable to resist, I took a look. Here’s what I found:
Jessica Alba: Eats oatmeal and fruit in the morning, salad and fish for lunch, and grilled chicken for dinner.
Gwen Stefani: Eats lots of protein, fish, and veggies. And, you will no doubt be pleased to learn that Ms. Stefani travels with her nutritionist.
Jessica Simpson: Eats egg whites for breakfast, tuna salad for lunch, almonds for snacks, and grilled chicken for dinner.
Eva Longoria: Eats oatmeal for breakfast, protein shake snack, turkey sandwich for lunch, and salmon for dinner. (I’m sad to say that I don’t even know who this woman is.)
Jennifer Anniston: Organic chicken, filet mignon, and veggies.
Christine Aguilera: Whole grains, fruit and turkey.
Beyonce: Six mini meals per day of fruit, veggies and fish.
The Black Eyed Peas’ Fergie: Egg-white omelette, chicken salad, and orange juice. (Another sad commentary on my lack of contemporary cultural awareness: I don’t know this woman either. I guess I need to get out more.)
Cameron Diaz: High-protein diet.
Now you know what the stars are eating. Who says the low-carb diet is dead?
