S Bear.... After reading your post on Bikram Yoga in the 6WC post, the water loss you had peaked my curiosity so I read up a bit on it to find out why such a large loss. I understand why the loss and after reading your posts here on it. I found a Bikram center just a few miles from me and I'm going to try it. It's not cheap!
Can you speak a little bit more on your experiences relating to Bikram yoga?
Thanks.

Sorry to be so long in replying.

Bikram for me has been a godsend. Even after I lost 25 pounds on Protein Power, my blood pressure refused to come down, and stayed above 160/100. Once I started the yoga (I had to wait because I had a sprained ankle) my blood pressure tumbled. After about my third class I felt very dizzy. Reason? 110/71.

Done with full effort, it not only burns fat, but also does a respectable amount of muscle building and reshapes your body. I find it to be very synergistic with low-carb eating, and think it has shortened several stalls. It also tends to curb my appetite.

You need to make sure you get enough salt, however. It's amazing how much salt you lose in sweat in a Bikram class.

Let us know how it goes for you.
