Yeah for you, Sherry!

However, my friend, as an experienced hand at exercise, shouldn't you be posting on the BTBF forum :)?

Ok technically I think I'm an OLD hand as well BUT....

Since my routine has been royally SQUASHED I have been really struggling with EVERYTHING.... even my beloved exercise!!!!

Today though I'm happy to announce that I DID MY PILATES!!! Tonight I have plans to unwind with the UNworkout tape (which btw Sherry I LOVEEEEE!!!!) I could listen to her talk FOREVER! Just the southern drawl alone would relaxed the wildest beast!

I'm going to be working hard to establish a new routine for while I am at my parents house. I may need the whip a time or two Shadow so please stand at the ready!!! I have just stayed tired ever since surgery day and am hoping that establishing a routine will eliminate some of that. We shall see!!!
Hugs,
Ally:eek:

I've been called worse, Billie!!! :D Thanks, though...

Ally, I'm SO GLAD you liked the tape... I, too, could listen to her all day long... not only beautiful, but classy too... Oh! I'm DELIGHTED you like the tape... how 'bout your Mama?

Hi, ya'll,
So glad to be back on "board" (no pun intended).
Today was: AM: body flex aerobic tape, upper body weights, core workout.
At work, continued to do up to two flights of stairs in lieu of the elevator.

:( Not going to let her watch it. There is no way on earth she can do anything even similar. She;s gotten alot worse than the last time I saw her. Just getting around and shuffling around the apartment is exercise enough for her at this point and doing things like puttering around the kitchen. Anything else and she would get hurt I'm afraid.:( :( :(
Hugs,
Ally

Ally - Not to worry, I'm a watchin' you :p ! For sure, once you get back into your regular life and workout routine, you will belong in the BTBF forum. However, you are absolutely right that this forum is for those who are struggling. Those just trying to get started, those who have fallen out of the habit, those who are recovering after an illness, etc - this is where they come to get the support (and whip cracking) they need to get back into it :) .

I am so sorry your mother is not doing well. I know how hard it is to see a parent deteriorating :( . But I am glad you're there with her to hopefully help her in whatever way she needs help.

I know you're tired - emotional times can be far more draining than the highly active times. However, yes, establishing a routine will help you fight the exhaustion. Not just because it is getting everything up and going in your body, but because it also gives your mind and emotions a break from what you're going through :) .

Way to go getting that Pilates done! I am sure if you stick with it and try to do something every day, that soon it will not be a struggle to get back into the regular routine.

Hang in there, Ally, we're here for you!!!

Sherry - A thought :) . If this is where you're comfortable since you do battle physical issues, then by all means, feel free to post here. However, I know that when you're well, the exercise habit is there. So it's up to you. The only danger is if you hang out here, the whip may find its way to your hide :p ...

What have I said before, Honey?

BRING IT ON!!!

I do think I'll hang out here, and keep things stirred up, helping others, etc. AND, it will be a motivation for ME to keep going...

I WILL be reading in the "big boy/girl" area though! :D

Okay - that's it. I'm gonna line you and Aaron up and kick some booty!

Now, if you want a challenge, how about a brisk 3 mile walk, Core Secrets, and then a good, fast paced 30 minutes on the Gazelle?

I expect your report by day's end ;) .

I already posted my report, on today's thread...

Ah - but I don't think all that was there ;) . Seems like you have some work to do yet today :p . However, if it'll help keep you in line, I'll move today's demands to the proper thread  ...
