How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives.

Annie Dillard
Good morning! We don't have to worry so much about the big picture if we've got today planned. Every day!

Breakfast will be eggs and sausage with a handful of spinach thrown into the mix. Lunch will be on the road, so probably a bunless burger. Dinner, I've planned at a restaurant I've been to before, and there will be no problem choosing plain meat and a vegetable.

I'll be doing a little traveling this weekend, but I'm not sure when we're leaving so I may be back later.

What are your plans for these two days?

Good morning everybody!

Carol meals and exercise are planned for the but the rest of the day is a toss up.

Stretching, warm-ups and the miracle seven isometric exercises before breakfast.

On yesterdays trip to State College, Doy purchased what she needed at the Asian market and more green tea for me.
We spent a couple hours visiting with our son Billy.

It was a bit chilly around here yesterday. Spent most of the day indoors. It felt more like fall than spring. Temps were in the mid 30's in the evening. Brrr!

I have no idea what I'll be doing today.

Today's meals:

breakfast- vanilla/cinnamon protein shake, 70gms raspberries, 2c green tea
51gms protein, 8.2gms carbs

Lunch- 8oz broiled orange-roughy topped w/parmesan cheese, 10 asparagus spears sauted in butter and drizzled with lemon juice, 2c green tea
56gms protein, 5gms carbs

Supper- 8ozs pork sirloin cutlet braised in condensed onion soup, 1c steamed broccoli, 60gms canned peaches w/splenda, 2c green tea
56gms protein, 7gms carbs

Have a good LC day! :)

Karole, I'm happy that you're exercising and enjoying it, but it would be nice to see some numbers to go along with it! ;)

Morning!
I started my day with some taco meat. Then finished the meal with a CAN of tropical fruit:(
I'm not going to let it ruin my day.
Off to do the seasonal clothing switch. I'll check back later.

Wow...quiet day.
I finished my day eating low carb...even COMPLETELY avoided the bun at Wendy's. Now I'm sipping Cab Sav red wine while playing on the internet and sitting outside at our firepit. I love spring fires.

Wow, studying like crazy yesterday.

Not my best day, got to keep some LC stuff for me around since I now have so much carbage due to the kids. Both DIL and son are not sure they can "do low carb, as we can't give up carbs". Meanwhile, DIL is upset she went from size 0-1 before grandbaby to a now size 8.
I will have to lead by "example".

:(Scale was up 2.6lbs yesterday! I told the kids I had to go back to eating LC fast!

Saturday: Carbs ~ 60 Pro: ~70.

Sunday menu:
B-scrambled eggs, sausage, sf ocean spray cranberry juice, hood LC choc milk (6).
L-creole chicken by DIL over rice (which I won't eat), but has lots of veggies in it, salad w/ LC dressing.
S- deli ham or cheese, tiny dill pickles.
D-TBD- but something LC I can eat.

Have a great Sunday, all.

Good morning everybody!

I did my stretching, warm-ups and the miracle seven isometric exercises this morning but with not much effort. Pain an issue today.

I didn't do much yesterday. Pain was up and I had no motivation to get started on anything. Ended up mostly sitting around and watching TV. Unusual for me, watching TV that is.

Just going to take it easy today. Hopefully the pain will stop soon.
Today's meals:

breakfast- 3 eggs, 4oz pork sirloin cutlet, 60gms canned peaches w/splenda, 2c green tea
46gms protein, 8gms carbs

Lunch- 8ozs hamburg paddy, 1oz cheddar cheese, LC pita bread, lettuce, tomato slice, 2c green tea.
52gms protein, 8gms carbs.

Supper-8ozs chicken thighs, 1c green beans topped w/butter, Spinach & onion salad w/evoo & vinegar, 2c green tea
56gms protein, 7.2gms carbs

Have a good LC day! :)

I had a good workout yesterday, I hope that helps combat some of the food and wine. :o We were out for dinner and I stuck to the ribs and salad but there was a sweet sauce on the ribs so I really don't even want to gestimate my carbs. Anyway, today is another day and we will be eating at home. No scheduled meals out for the next little while so maybe I can finally string a week of decent eating together.

It's a gorgeous spring day so I'll get out on the bike this afternoon for a bit. :) My first time this year (surgery kinda delayed things) so I'll take it easy and not try to go too far.

I'll post food numbers later, once I figure out what I'm eating.

Well, I didn't count anything over the weekend. I ate more chocolate than I should have done, ate some more veggies than I should have done, and had quite a few grapes today. But apart from that, stuck as low carb as I could under the circumstances. I think I've broken some bad habits recently, and even a week like the one I've just had wasn't too disasterous.

I fell off the 6WC meat weeks altogether. I haven't had a chance to measure, but I don't think the shake weeks did anything for my VAT fat. Today I am down to just over a pound above my lowest ever (well, lowest in the last six years!) so it's not a disaster weightwise.

Tomorrow will be a pressured day for various reasons. I'll aim to go back to purist/meat weeks style on Tuesday or Wednesday, and probably tomorrow or Tuesday start with the food diary again.

After sorting out how to use my new pump for my bike tires () I did get out for a short ride. I've been neglecting the house a bit lately, need to do at least a brief cleaning before dinner.

Todays breakfast was egg salad on LC toast and tea, I had a small bowl of soup for a snack and dinner will be roast pork and caprese salad.

Good job, everyone. :) Those who struggled with extra carbs, you didn't let it derail your whole day.

My day was screwy; a brat for breakfast and two more for lunch (captive in a trade show) supplemented by some almonds and Lindt 85% that I brought along. Greek yogurt and blueberries for a third meal just now. Pretty sure I'm low on protein, but carbs are within the target.
