I thought this article written by one of our PP customers (Candi) for my last newsletter was very good and thought I'd share it with all of you. Candi has a family and pulls no punches in her article. If you put your mind and energy into it, your family can low carb. Enjoy!

If it were just me, I'd be happy to throw a chop or a hamburger into the frying pan and nuke a frozen vegetable when I'm short on time. The trick is trying to come up with food that tastes carb-rich for the rest of my family, while keeping it low-carb for the sake of their health (if it doesn't appeal to their taste buds, they'll won't eat it and fill up on carbs elsewhere). There are a lot of excellent cookbooks out there to help, but it is hard work and takes a certain amount of imagination. Candi has some good ideas -- but it really can be a challenge sometimes, especially if, like me, it's important to have a family meal most nights of the week!

Mary that's a great article, please tell Candi I love her attitude and her approach. Like most things in life we can make things easy or difficult. A little work up front can make the whole thing go better down the road.

This is my first post - but would LOVE to have more of Candi's quick ideas! I'm totally new to the PP lifestyle!
