Snack: none

Total: 2048
Fat: 130
Carbs: 60 - 35 = 35 ECC

Nice going and nice recovery after the party Randy! 9 ounces of hamburger--whoa that's a lot of meat and followed by the 1 cup of pistachios, how is the tummy feeling this moring? What a man!! ;)

Billie, that breakfast, wow you went all out!! Old habits die hard eh?

Breakfast: Iced latte--good for bone density

Lunch: Doggy date with 5 friends and 6 dogs! 1/2 piece of hamburger bun, ham, cheese, broccoli, cauli, raspberries and cream

Dinner:Ribs on the grill, fresh green beans, some fruit for dessert

Some kind of pineapple orange rum drink, I am sure high in carbs but also pretty darn perfect for the hot weather.

Will be over on carbs today, but what a great holiday it has been. Pretty warm for May here in the mid 90s, so lots of water as well.

CMCole

Breakfast - 2 eggs mixed with bit of cream and fried, after I fried the bacon (2 slices for me; one each for dogs); Homemade Scone; coffee

Snack: Black Tea, Water throughout day

Lunch: 2 medium-sized porkchops (leftovers). Didn't eat the salad I brought - in fridge for tomorrow, I guess

Snack: (bad me) 1 SF candy (chocolate, peanuts - sort of like a "turtle")

Supper: (not sure, yet because if I go to the gym, I'll be there late because of my hubby's ball game, so I might just have to have a protein shake or something light)

CMCole why bad you? The SF candy was probably fine, we can't always be perfect, but your day went okay, what did you end of doing for dinner?

Claudette
Today was:
Breakfast: eggs, two slices bacon, small bowl steel cut oatmeal w/ splash of half and half
Lunch: cottage cheese w/ three small cubes of pineapple, green tossed salad w/ veggies, T. Ranch dressing
Dinner: Hebrew National pure beef franks(sans buns), T. homemade potato salad(MIL made), small < 5.5 " ear of corn w/smear of butter, LC sugar free ice cream
Bedtime snack: oz cheese, SF tapioca pudding w/ squirt of Land O' Lakes no sugar whipped topping

ECC:54, PRO:63-70, Water:yes, Supp: yes
Claudette maneuvering our relatives on holiday occasions is always tough, but looks like you made a pretty traditional dinner in the ball park. But I have to ask, did you measure the ear of corn at 5.5? You silly!!! :D

Niobe

Not a banner day; my carbs were okay (almost weren't), but I only got half of my protein. Just really not hungry today.

1: Small blueberry muffin (I was woken up by the smell of them baking. The kids tend to bake sweets when they're bored, leaving me to contend with cravings AND the dishes.), and a pepperoni pizza (on a LC tortilla).
2: 1/3 pound burger patty with bacon and cheese; steamed broccoli; several boneless barbeque "wings" (I'd actually ordered them, despite the little voice in my head screaming at me, but was saved from myself by the fact that the cook poured ALL his remaining barbeque sauce on them, it was like soup. Disgusting!).

Protein: 65g.
Carbs: 50g.
Vitamins: Err ... I don't remember.
Water: Not a clue, but probably not enough.
Exercise: 12 swimming l

You are right, not a banner day but nothing too awful either, I bet you are going to be hungry today, so start out with some protein right away, and drink that water!

We all had our obstacles today, some days just like that! But today is a day ready for us to tackle, keep looking ahead!

Why bad me? Because for some reason, even if I have only one, I think it's not a good choice to have a SF candy.

Supper - beef (stew), fried with spices and a mixed green salad with raspberry balsamic vinegar sprinkled on it.

Later - nuts (a few) and crisp bread with peanut butter on it.

Not to worry, a piece of something like that will not probably cause any issues. If you are going to have it, then enjoy it!

Thanks for the review Billie. I am almost always over on my protein target and only recently have I been monitoring teh calories so watch how far over I go. I meant to have one or two but we were watching teh movie "The Cave" which had some great scary parts and all of a sudden you realize that you've been munching constantly.  :o

Hi, Billie,
Thanks for reviewing our Monday menus. I would have replied yesterday, but the stupid computer went bonkers.
Yes, I did estimate the ear of corn, as I broke a ear in half after looking up the carbs for that size!
I am determined !
Hugs,
Claudette
