Meditations for Women

Are you like me---wasting energy worrying or stressing about things you cannot change? And worse yet taking the valuable time and effort away from things you can change? :confused: It sounds so easy when put like this. DOH I thought to myself:rolleyes:

We can control a few things in our life, and the food we put into our bodies is surely one of them and obviously the one that affect/effects us the most. Hopefully over this long holiday weekend you have had some good choices made, saved your energy for the battles you can win and just enjoyed yourself, I know I have.

Using our energy in a productive way, to become healthy is such a great effort to have!

Have a great Memorial Day. Thoughts to those who have loved ones involved with Armed Services anywhere in the world, lots of moms and dad, sisters and brothers, who have no control over that, yet the stress has to take a huge toll. Thoughts with you all today!

Good reminder. Hope I can follow it every day.

Yes, I've lived with the stress of having a spouse in the military, and in the Persian Gulf, so I can sympathize with those whose loved ones are deployed afar.

My hubby says that if I were to be deployed there, he likely wouldn't sleep.
