Wishes are like seeds - few ever develop into something.
Michael Garofalo
Many things begin with a wish. It takes planning and action to turn a wish into reality. We planned a few weeks ago. How is your action coming? ;)

Breakfast was a protein shake. Lunch will be the rest of the beef and vegetables in the fridge. Dinner will be leftover meatloaf. How's that for not cooking today! :D

Gotta get busy at work today, so only time to record my food.
Since I'm heading to Mom's this weekend, I'm eating left over roast beef for both meals. It will make my carbs pretty high, but hate to throw it away.

7:30am 5.5oz roast beef with rutabaga/onion/carrot
11am same
3pm 2hb eggs
6pm Quizno's chix/bacon/cheese salad

Things are slow enough at work today that I didn't have to drag my whiny, feverish and exhausted butt out of bed. :) I seem to have a knack for getting sick when work is busy and I can't stay home and rest.

In spite of this though I have managed to stay on track pretty much. I did indulge in a couple of slices of DH's thin crust pizza the other night. :( (and I felt really gross yesterday because of it, in addition to the flu) First time I've done that since starting LC, but I was definitely in a weakened state and it was right there in front of me. I broke away from the 3-1 plan when I got sick, not sure if I'll finish the two weeks or not.

Today will be whatever I have the energy to eat, probably eggs and maybe prawns for dinner.

We're actually missing a few regulars...I hope it's just from being too busy.

In the school where I work, illness is the topic of almost every conversation now. Lots of area schools have closed down for a couple of days. I had a flu shot yesterday, but my nose is itchy!

I'll be leaving for the gym in a few minutes. Yay!

Another stupid busy day today...!

Breakfast was bacon and eggs. Lunch and dinner will probably be protein shakes.

I had a really good workout. Dinner was thin-sliced meatloaf in a lettuce wrap with mayo, mustard and a slice of cheddar. Very satisfying! Snack/dessert was Fage with frozen blueberries and ground walnuts.

Kathee, "stupid busy" sounds worse than "crazy busy", which is my favorite term.

I hope everyone has a peaceful, relaxed evening. :)

B: Sausage/eggs w/ cheese
L: Atkins shake & carbmaster yogurt
D: Leftover quiznos at home from last night plus 1 brat on romaine

I was thinking dinner might be too much but it filled me up a nice amount without leaving me full. Just about the perfect amount of filling.

Scale was just over a pound this morning so I'm hovering in the right ballpark. I think it's a little harder to hit a new low since I switched all my bigger meals to dinner but with the next new low it should be back to normal.
