I don't believe it! Surely not a PP web site??:p

Just kidding - great to see it and looking forward to see how it develops.

I checked it out MYSELF!!! Cool!! :D

And if anyone's interested...check out under their "products" link...they have a terrific bargin!! For $20 you can get a "bundle" of their products that they are putting on sale for a limited time. Good deal!!! ~ included in this bundled deal is a hard cover of PPLP (2000) edition.

Thanks for the heads up Malcom! :D

I'm really glad to see the website up and running. Am a bit surprised there's not more to it considering how long it took to get it finished. I did enjoy some of the articles they have up and it appears this will be a daily addition. I hope they will add a section specifically about the Protein Power plan so folks who don't know about it can have a resource on the web. I'd love to have a place to send folks who ask about the kind of "diet" I'm on.

The $20.00 special is a great bargain. I'm considering ordering it and donating the LifePlan book to the library as I already have a copy.

That 'section' of the new website may be this forum...that's our job. :)

"A great looking site and I like the $20.00 deal as well. Unfortunately they only ship stateside but I'll try to arrange to get a few for good friends who have asked how they could lose their weight as well.

I have enquired about international shipping (one of the problems of the old site) - no response as yet.

BTW...although you can bookmark the main site separately, you can also get there directly from the bulletin board page...
Scroll down to the bottom right, where you see:
Contact Us - Protein Power - Archive - Top

"Protein Power" is the link to the main site. Enjoy!

I recieved my "DEAL" :D off the Eades's site...and it seems to be quite the DEAL for sure!:D

Heck the PPLP book ALONE was worth it!! Now, I excited to listen to the CD's and read whatever books I don't already own.

It's good to have two PPLP books...that way I can lend out one and still have one for reference. I lent out my book and I must say, I missed it being gone.

Just wanted to bring this thread up as a reminder! Today is their "last" day for this "deal"....perhaps they could extend it if they still have a quantity of these things left? That'll give time for those of us who bought it a chance to check it out further and talk about it to encourage others! :D

Oh my goodness...I listened just to ONE CD so far...and it's as though the Eades are talking/coaching especially to ME!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

I recommend this HIGHLY to anyone sitting on the fence about taking advantage of this...and I mean I feel like I'm truely taking advantage of them!! :paranoid: :D

HURRRRRRRRRRRYYYY....it's only TODAY left to order!!!! lol

Can you tell I'm a sucker for infomercial stuff! :D

But...but...BUT...THIS ISSSSSSSSSSS A GOOD DEAL!!!!!!!! lol

I got mine on Friday. WoW, what a wealth of information for $20!!!! An unreal value.

Okay, now you're *both* making me jealous...I ordered mine on Monday or Tuesday last week, so it's not here yet. But I agree, it sounded like a phenomenal value. I'm always carrying my books around; now I can have one at work and one at home AND one to lend out...plus all the CDs to listen to. Of course, I am about three audio books behind already, but it's nice to have the library at the ready when I DO have the concentration and/or the time. ;)

I got mine too. In the video, they seem like very nice people.

I will be sending the Protein Power Pyramid materials my 31-year old niece who has just been diagnosed with pre-diabetes. Once she sees the menu choices all layed out in the 30-Day Low-Carb Solution, she will realize that low carb does include some fruit and bread. Maybe she can convince her dad (my brother) to follow it and reduce his insulin and other medications.

I hope this close-out sale means that new books are in the works!

Pretty awesome! I'm impressed with the details on the site.

Wow, I wish I had that menu plan for my hubby. It might be beneficial to have him see that the Diabetic book with menus (that he mostly can't eat because they are full of cheese) isn't the only resource he could rely on for info.

Still no word on non-States shipping, I guess.

CM, "The 30-Day Low Carb Diet Solution" (which is about half menu plans) is available new and used from www.amazon.com, and both Amazon and several of the used-book sellers ship to Canada.

Reverie, the special sale on these materials took place so that the person who keeps the stock in books and inventory could reduce inventory prior to moving. More of a shipping/delivery/storage solution than an indication that new books are expected...although the "Low Carb CookwoRx Cookbook" and another baking cookbook are both out, and I can't for the life of me get "Staying Power" on the local bookstores' shelves for longer than a day.

I didn't know about Staying Power, thanks. There are 3 copies left at Amazon right now. I will look for this. I hope someday I can move to maintenance instead of losing the same 10 pounds over and over.

The main text of Staying Power is about maintenance, but there's also a FAQ chapter which is about low carbing in general, rather than maintenance, and it has some information that isn't in the other books.

I ordered one from Amazon.ca that ships from Canada, because shipping rates from the US were $14.98 (US) in addition to the price of the book (which was, coincidentally, 0.50
