You're older than you've ever been.
And now you're even older.
And now you're even older.
And now you're older still.
No excuses. There's no time like the present to do things right. Eat healthy and enjoy life. No procrastinating! :)

B: Sausage/eggs with cheese
L: Tuna (w/ mayo & splenda relish & mustard)
D: "Personal pizza" (crust is going to be almond flour based)

Without my protein powder helping me on my lighter meals my weight had crept up to the upper bounds of my normal range (+3.5). Yesterday I did everything right and for dinner I had 3 cheese dogs with some ketchup/mustard which was managed to fit my definition of a light meal. After yesterday I'm sitting at +1 so I think I'm back on the right track.

Today I went with tuna for my lighter meal. It's a big family pack size (3 servings) and included a little bit of mayo to add a little fat. Depending how this works out, I might go the tuna route when I don't feel like having a shake.

Really... nobody showed up today? It's lonely in here!

Ate on plan. My choices for tuna at the grocery store were chunk light or albacore. Albacore was a bust and I hope they get the regular non-chunk version in soon.

Dinner used recipe from 24/7 Low Carb Diner (http://247lowcarbdiner.blogspot.com/2009/05/personal-pizzas-even-carby-could-love.html). Instead of the soy flour we used almond flour as we aren't big on soy and don't have any handy either.

Crust was really good. Next time we might try to make it thinner and bake it solo a little longer. The part of the crust sticking out around the edges was awesome while the rest was just ok. I think if it were crispier it'd be better. My wife declared this the best pizza crust recipe we have (over zucchini crust, over chicken crust, over cauliflower crust).

I think sometime soon she's going to try this with just cheese like she's done in the past with the cauliflower crust for cheesy bread sticks.

Hi, Goose! So sad to see you holding the fort all alone! ;) Here I am to keep you company...

I was setting up a yard sale today and my computer never went on until now. I'm worn out, and I don't think we've put out any more than a fraction of what we could have. :p

Meals were weird today. Breakfast was a pork chop (leftover grilled), lunch was cottage cheese with blueberries and walnuts. Dinner was two more pork chops. I was NOT going to stop and cook.

11:05pm ... under the wire and shakin' in my boots.

This morning I booted up, plugged everything into KDiet and seeing I had a few minutes, thought I'll just log onto PP and do a quick entry. I baulked at being the first to post 2 days running ... looked at the clock and realized ... I had PLANNED my day's food down to the nano-calorie, BUT I hadn't MADE my lunch yet  y'all made me late for work!

My challenge was to disengage frm work when eating and focus on food. Lunch today was working at the monitor again but that was because at noontime I ran over to the Low Carb Grocery. So I did have a food-related break, I'm good with that. There was no snack because I just didn't get hungry after lunch but I did get up frm the chair a couple times to shake out my numb butt (figuratively speaking).

B: "Oh Yeah" bottled shake & coconut oil
L: Egg salad on LC tortilla / salami
D: Callipo brand "Mister Tonello" tuna in olive oil w/peppers.
Lsn: Last of the beaujelais

Prot: 69g
ECC: 14g
Fat: 71g
Cal: short - 1110 (1590 target) shame on me but NOT hungry.

Good health,
Sharvo

Yay, Sharvo! Glad you showed up. You're on the exemption list along with Carol ;)

Don't worry about starting these things. I used to be the same way and didn't want to start them. But I wanted some place to type up my meal plans for the day and started one. After a while I found... no one ran me off. They just let me do it and all was well!
