The weekend is here, find some time to enjoy it!
#1 Drink 100+ oz water
#2 Record everything in fitday
B: Sausage/eggs w/ 2 slices cheese (+cod liver oil cap)
L: Family reunion (danger danger danger!)
D: Shake or somesuch
Scale watch: +0.7
Woot! Effectively down to my low. Whenever I hit the low, I'll have to figure out which day I intend to do my weekly weigh-in on so I can stop doing this daily stuff. Monday would probably be best as it's the most likely day to catch a post-weekend bump so I crack down if needed.
G'morning Spruce, and those to come.
I got results back from 2 of my 3 tests...Negative. They found nothing.
*sigh*
I went in this morning for another test (one test I have to do three times because it doesn't always show in test 1 or 2).
Cross your fingers because I have had NO changes....Since Monday...
I added wrong, today I am down 9 lbs. Even with all the carbs I ate yesterday.
But I'm miserable. I have terrible gas and am finding myself being angry and moody. ALL reasons WHY I don't eat carbs .
Today I'm increasing protein and decreasing carbs. I'm still starting my mornings with carbs because that is when I feel iffy. Today I had mashpotatoes at 8am and I'm having a banana now (10:30). I have a turkey sandwich for lunch - LOTS of turkey and I put butter on instead of jelly.
With that I have 9 crackers.
Then tonight I'm going out. Not sure what I'm having...but it will be some form of chix or turkey (as bland I can get), and a carb side.
*sigh*...I'm having to learn HOW to eat again, and it hard and it sucks!!

Amy, you'll probably get better before they find out what it was! Maybe it was just a virus that hit you particularly hard.
I'm trying to break through 220, and I've been floating around 217.8 for the last couple of days (I weigh myself with my normal work clothes on every day). This morning, I'm 215.8, but that was with casual clothes and barefoot, so I'm not declaring victory yet. I figure my shoes and work clothes add that 2 pounds. I'd love to be at 215 by the end of next week.
We plan to go kayaking today, part of my goal of gradually increasing activity (I'm fairly sedentary).

Sorry you're no further forward on knowing what the problem is, Amy :(. I hope your body manages to fight it off soon even if you don't have a label for it.
That would be great!
Either HEAL or find out what it is!!
I'm fine with either!!
It's been six days.........ugh....
BUT, I'm feeling pretty good today. Since I missed so much work last week, I'm at work today. I have some quarter-end stuff that had to get done, and I have been able to fly through it! Yah!
Tonight we're going to sit by the fire in our backyard again. The temps are so chilly that it's perfect for it. It's like AUTUMN here! Lovely for July (as long as it gets warm again).
Yesterday was high of 66
Today high of 74
tomorrow high of 84

Family reunion had lot of good options and I ate more than I should (while keeping carbs in check). Had fried chicken (took off the outside so I could eat the chicken), lots of good cheese (some family from Wisconsin in from out of town and they bring the good stuff), couple meatballs, a little bit of salad, unsweetened ice tea was my drink of choice. My wife and I brought low-carb zucchini bread which was delicious.
Dinner ended up being 4 cauliflower "bread"sticks (cauliflower pizza crust recipe). Under 400 calories and quite tasty. I just can't figure out the right combination of ingredients for a good shake anymore so I'm getting a bit gun-shy on that option (plus the burnout).
Tomorrow should be a bit more normal for a weekend menu. Next weekend we're having my son's first birthday party. Lots of good food is going to be around which I'll be trying not to eat too much of but we're hosting so there will be LC options all around.

Today's meals...
B: Sausage/eggs w/ 2 slices cheese (and cod liver oil cap)
L: Main meal for the day, unsure what
D: Protein shake (for real this time)
Scale watch: +1.8 (up from 0.7 yesterday)
Family reunion yesterday had me out of my routine. I ate until full instead of satisfied (much harder to realize the line when surrounded by lots of good food that normally isn't available). Carbs were in check so this fluctuation should drop back off fairly easily.

((((AMY)))) I'm so sorry you are sick! I do hope you either get better or they find out what's wrong and cure it quickly.
Life rocks on for me. Still stuck between the two properties, but am getting a lot done. I've decided not to worry about trying to lose more weight right now. As long as I stay below 150, which was my initial goal, I'm OK. I do want to lose more, but realise now is not the time. Need to get this property fixed up and sold and move to the new one. THEN I'll tackle more weight loss.
The good news is I've maintained my loss for almost 6 months now. I think that is the longest time in 30 years that I've remained under 150. So even though at times I feel discouraged about further weight loss, this is a nice achievement.
Saturday's stats were 1680 cal, 93 protein, and 78 ECC (about 10 high). This morning's weight: 148.

Congrats BC that really is a great achievement-- maintaining so well and under the stress that you have been under. I think maintaining is harder than the actual losing part. At least for me it is. I keep bumping up and down and I'm scared to death I will bump up and one of these days fail to go back down. Guess I'll just deal with it if it happens.

Shakes are almost dead to me. Can't get the flavor right since I ran out of one of my flavors.
Dinner ended up being a little bit of leftover pulled pork with a little bit of leftover shredded roast and a little BBQ on top. Don't have exact numbers but it was small but tasty.

Thanks, Karole. I have the same issues as you with maintainence. Actually this morning my weight was exactly 150 , so need to watch it a bit better. It is a challenge, but like many on this board, am determined to win this battle. What I can never understand is how I can gain 3# overnight but NEVER lose 3 lbs. in a day. <sigh>
Meals were on-plan yesterday except for a piece of cake in the late afternoon. A large piece, which is why weight is up this morning. But am back on the straight and narrow again.
I NEVER lose 3# in a day, but sure can gain.
I am thinking this is because I am close to what I should weigh. I don't get big drops any more like I did when I was younger. Am I right?
