No thread out here yet so I figured I'd fire one off.

Thank you for starting us off today :).
It's still very hot here, though not quite as bad as yesterday. We're on lots of salads for now. Given the vagaries of English weather, it could change at any time, and we'll be back to making hearty stews again .

Morning everyone!!
It's Friday for me at work today...3 days weekend ahead :D Have lots of fun events planned for the weekend so I definetly will not have to much time on my hands to think about food. Going to a theme park tomorrow in NJ....hopefully there will be a place that serves something nutritional. Then fireworks of course for the holiday. Anyone else celebrating Independence Day this weekened?
Scale the same again this morning. I think I am not going to weigh in for the next few days - wait til Monday. Just drives me nuts.
B: Chicken Breast
L: Tuna Salad
D: Shrimp Salad
S: Coffee with creamer
Me too Heather!!
And tonight we're going to the ball game, and after the game they're shooting off fireworks! That way we don't have to fight crowds on the fourth! And we live 2miles from the stadium, so although we're driving, we don't have far to go!
Meals will be a bit off....I am okay with upped calories/protein because it will be a long day for me. Hopefully it won't do too much damage.
Another 1/2lb down today. I'm only up .5lb now compared to 9 on Monday...ugh
7am fried chix breast, most coating taken off, diet v8 juice
11am salad with egg, almonds, carrots or mushrooms, cheddar, ranch
3pm 2 deviled eggs, 1 claussen dill
7-10pm lite beer, burger with 1/2 bun, bag of peanuts (not sure how many peanuts this is...I look when I get there)
Pro: 127
Ecc: 39.8
Fat: 131.6
Cal: 2009
Most of these calories are from the peanuts...but it will be a better choice than deep fried cheese curds!!! (mmmmmmmmmm, cheese curds.....)

Ugh. Wasn't thinking about the 3 day weekend in terms of eating.
Not only is the weekend the hardest time for me and adding an extra will make it harder, most likely family functions where I'll eat too much (while keeping the carbs in check).

I don't think we have anything special happening this weekend. Might be a good time to take a drive up on the Mesa. We haven't been for awhile (Hopefully we won't get hauled away by the mosquitos!)
Breakfast today was corned beef, eggs, and a small bowl of mixed berries w/cream
Lunch - ? probably liver sausage and romaine
Supper will be a pork chop w/brussel sprouts with some sort of sauce, garlic, I think
Snack - I've already finished off the few pecans I had; I'm sure later I'll have a SF popsicle.

I'm still on the 30 net carbs per day plan, so I'll have to be extra careful about the festivities on the 4th! Things like sauce on ribs, chicken, etc. can pack in the sugar calories if you're not careful.
Heather, watch out if the amusement park has those tempting "turkey legs". They look like they are pure protein, but they are infused with a marinade that is carb-rich (sugar!) They pack about 1,100 calories, but I haven't been able to find how many carbs they contain. I was successful staying on plan at Disneyland twice, so it can be done. It helps to have some almonds, walnuts or beef jerky to enjoy while the family is buying churros and ice cream!
We have a nephew's wedding reception on Friday, our normal family gathering at the beach on Saturday, and then a recovery day on Sunday. Avoiding the cake and goodies at the reception will be easy ... but its the "hidden" carbs I'm always worried about. They sneak them into so many foods!

Lunch plans fell through and I had to go to the cafeteria. Got a couple small burgers (tossed the buns) and hit the salad bar there. Pretty much the same thing but not nearly as good as the place I usually go.
Hit around 120 oz of water. Avoided soda. Had a protein shake for dinner.
