Why don't we all try and plan ahead today, and list your menu...if you are not usually a planner, try it today.
If you are a planner, then this will be the easiest thing you'll do today - you just have to tell us your menu!

Today is my CRAZY busy day, Tuesdays are.
Work 7:30-3:30, meeting outside of work at 4:15, drive home 5:30, eat supper 5:45, phone call 6pm, finish eating at 6:15, salsa lessons at 7pm, out for drinks with fellow dancers 8pm (it's our last class), home and in bed 10pm.
Ugh...If I don't have a plan, I'm eating food that is NOT good for me...and eating it in a hurry.

But, I do have a plan...and here it is.

8pm brat wrap, 2deviled eggs, diet v8 juice
11:30pm lc lasagna, cuke
3pm 2oz deli turkey, 1 big claussen dill
4:30pm iced coffee
5:45pm 5oz ground beef, 1oz cheese, 1cup green beans
8pm 2 lite beers

Pro: 126.1
Ecc: 41.9
Fat: 126.2
Cal: 1927

I've already had two meals, so this doesn't involve so much planning for me.

Breakfast - hot-smoked salmon, spinach, horseradish, and a small potato cake (I would have skipped that bit for weight loss). Small cappuccino (made with 1/4 cup milk)

Lunch - bresaola, rocket, parmesan. Espresso

Dinner will be chicken, probably with broad beans, which aren't the lowest carb vegetable around, but they have such a short season, and I love them, so I have them once or twice at this time of year. I'll braise the beans in butter or olive oil with sage. Maybe turn it into a cream sauce.

Good morning, Amy.

My plan is almost a duplicate of yesterday, except for Breakfast.

Breakfast, Sausage patty, bowl of "mock" cream of wheat.
Lunch, Chicken salad (it came out really well)
Supper, I still have one pork chop in the fridge. Yesterday I had it with sauteed zucchini and yellow summer squash. Today I think probably broccoli or cauliflower.
Snack, nuts and/or SF popsicle

Plenty of water, tea, etc.

It's gonna get quite warm again today (near if not quite 90), but is cool right now, so I guess I should get my "moving and shaking" done before it gets too hot.

#1 More water (yesterday's ~132 oz was nice)
#2 Only a morning soda

The 2 liters of soda are now gone from my house. I'll probably finish the few cans left in the fridge and then quit cold turkey. The extra 12 pack? Stashing it downstairs and will bring it to a future family function. It's the knockoff brand so I'm only out like $2.50 if I don't drink it. I guess tomorrow starts with the unsweetened cold brew iced tea.

B: Eggs/sausage w/ 2 slices of cheese (1 slice colby, 1 slice swiss)
L: 2.5 slices leftover zuchini crust pizza (home-made alfredo sauce, shrimp, bacon, cheese)
D: Probably a shake (50 protein, water, heavy cream, cinnamon, maybe da vinci's raspberry)

I'm trying not to get my hopes up but the scale is still trending in the right direction albeit very slowly. The last few days my morning weight has been getting better. I'm still up a bit from my previous low but hopefully I'm on the right track.

So good news - the scale was the same this morning as it was before I went on vacation :). I ate lots of good things, but all low carb. Steaks, seafood and salads mostly. The only splurging I did was drink wine...which I pretty much did every day with dinner. I did still try and watch the cals...eating low cal breakfast and lunches. I am very pleased.

Dr. says I am VERY, VERY dehydrated. I figured I would be. I have to drink more water...I just find it so difficult. Today I went for my blood work. They had to stick me 4 times before they could get a vien...ouch!! I should have the results by the end of the week.

B: Turkey Bacon
L: Crab Salad
D: Tuna Salad
S: Coffee with creamer

I added 1/2 oz of nuts in the middle of the afternoon, and a glass of white wine with dinner, and came in at 41g carb. I'm happy if it's around 60-70, so that is well under my "limit."

hi everyone!

turns out I have a sinus infection. three days of fever, queasyness, "intestinal problems"

I go to eat and can't take more than 3 bites or so.

and it's like all my childhood dislikes concerning food are surfacing ...
picked the chicken and noodles out of my chicken noodle soup, so I ended up with like three tablespoons of broth and that's probably the biggest meal I've had since Saturday.

Made scrambled eggs this morning, couldn't even think of looking at bacon or sausage, then took three bites and threw it out - didn't want to get the dog sick:eek:

4 doses of antibiotics and a shot of something to stop the queasyness and I'm well enough to get on here, anyway.

off to bed

I bet you're glad you went to the doctor, aren't you? Take care of yourself and get well soon.

I was HUNGRY today. Not just feeling the urge to eat (that happens a lot!), but actually hungry. Not ravenous or anything, but unusual for me on the WOE. I supplemented lunch with some sunflower/flax crackers w/cream cheese, and had a few more nuts than usual. So my calories were probably higher than I would like (I didn't calculate them). And I didn't drink as much as I had planned. Otherwise, I did very well food wise.

Agnes, I hope you had a good night's sleep and that the drugs are doing their work and you're feeling better today.

Talk about being a day late and a dollar short! Planned menu yesterday was breakfast shake, venison stew w/ veggies for lunch, pizza and salad at Bible study (minus most of the crust for me). I stuck with it except I did eat a whole piece of pizza -- the crust just looked too good. And I added a few nuts and a glass of wine late in the evening. Came out at 70 ECC +/-. About right for me.

House is finally set up, anchored down and electricity is hooked up. Today we tackle the water hookup and hopefully early next week the airconditioning will be completed. Since there are no trees by the house, it is hot hot hot in the afternoons. Amazing what a few trees can do to help cool a place. I've not needed A/C here, but certainly will at the new house. Now to get the chapel furnishings moved so I can put this place up for sale.

Goals achieved.

Had a snack in there yesterday of beef jerky. Dinner was the shake and I left out the da vinci's (bleh, won't be doing that again). After dinner I wanted something a little more and had some low-carb yogurt (3 net carbs + however much splenda they put in it).

Thanks, Karole!

I am glad I went to the doctor. I actually almost felt like a person today.
Unfortunately, it is just so crazy at work right now, that it's hard to take it easy.
