Does any one know if flaxseed meal is ok , it says 4 grams of carb and 4 grams of fiber is this really a wash?
I am having trouble getting in all of my fiber.I have some room to wiggle with veggies but this would help.:p

Star I use flaxseed meal in my baking all the time and have never had any problem at all. I just count it as zero ecc.

Starfish, there is no fiber "requirement"...
what do you mean when you say
I am having trouble getting in all of my fiber.

Dr. Eades suggests magnesium as a wonderful supplement for our health and it has the extra benefit of "easing" things. You might try that if you are having problems.

more dietary fat will also ease the flow of things.

Do you have a preference in fat and how much.

Starfish,

I believe some have mentioned that originally the Eades mentioned fiber, but changed their mind later...??

The fat, others will be able to tell you exactly what the Eades say, but I aim to get the same amount of grams of fat and protein (I use fitday to track).
So I will have about 130g of protein, and I will aim for that (130g) in fat. That way I know I will feel satisfied and have what I need. If my fat is lower, I end up having more protein to feel satisfied.

More recent discussions on his blog show how the Eades no longer push fiber: http://www.proteinpower.com/drmike/category/fiber/
