Every time you wake up and ask yourself, "What good things am I going to do today?", remember that when the sun goes down at sunset, it will take a part of your life with it."
Indian Proverb
What good things are you going to do today? Do you have a plan in place to make it a great day on the program? Do you have thoughts of doing something good for someone else today and importantly for yourself?
Somedays, most days probably, I wake up and just go through the day. Sure I plan around work and bringing my lunch or getting to the gym, but do I have a plan for the day--not usually. How about making a plan for the day or the weekend to do something really special for you, no matter what it is. Just to enjoy that day of life.
Have a great day!

Good idea!
My hubby and I have the weekend alone with the dogs, as our son is going to the cabin with his girlfriend's family.
Even if we only get out and enjoy the weather (hopefully it will co-operate), it's better than sitting inside decaying.

Billie, you just made a decision for me... I was vacillating between keeping a GF's little girl or not. And, although I've had kids all day every day this week, and was really looking forward to having a day off, it will be "doing good" to help out... :)
Off to make a phone call...

Let's see... I transplanted 22 viola plants this morning and cut a fresh bouquet of lilacs (my favorite flower) for the house. Got the shopping done and will mow and trim tonight. My meals are planned. So, lots of good eating and moving going on in my world today :D. Along with taking time to "smell the roses" by getting my flowers more orderly so I can actually enjoy them.

Plans are made to get my garden raked down and (hopefully) deer-proofed so I can get my vegetables planted next weekend after our last frost :). And I start vacation at 5:00 today - now how's that for a great plan for doing something special for myself :p?

My weekend starts at four this afternoon (I like long weekends). Tonight, I have a music party. Tomorrow I will treat myself to some uninterrupted housecleaning. No kidding! I really want to! Sunday, I will spend with DH on a short business trip and hopefully get home in time to kiss my little GS before he has to go back to his mama. There! That's something for everybody! :)

Although I recieved a transfer notice this morning that my work location changes in June:eek:   , I'll deal with that next week.
We have company this weekend and A Flank Steak Roll (cut thin with the grain and layout vegies and roll back up) that I will do up in a few minutes. We have some games and a movie outing planned as well as practicing different types of Tapas for the travelling dinner next week.

Oh, Randy... that doesn't sound like you like the relo idea! I hope it's a good thing...
Well, I did take the little girl (she's sleeping now)...
AND... I did good with some "me" time today in the form of getting my legs waxed for the first time ever(!), and a pedicure as well... ahhhhhhhhhhh... :D

Hey everyone, your weekends are sounding lovely!!! Definitely you are living in the "what kind of good things am I going to do today", mode! Good on all you!
What is so fun is that for everyone here it is just a little bit different, each of you taking the time to plan something that is good for you. Whether it is child care, cleaning house, entertaining, readying a garden...whatever it is, you are there! Love it!
