You are wonderful and you have within you the potential to do great and marvelous and good things. Don't let anyone stop you, don't let anybody get in your way, don't get sidetracked on some venture of one kind or another that might injure you and hurt you. Do what is right. Gordon B. Hinckley
We are worth what it takes to get healthy and stay healthy.
Breakfast will be a protein shake. Lunch will be cauli bake. Dinner will be a burger and a veggie.
Today's the first day of our spring break, which means there will be few interruptions and I'll get some work done! :D

Another good quote! It's amazing how often we end up choosing to do things that are bad for us, and ultimately make us unhappy .
I spent this morning playing on the computer with yesterday's photos and some older ones, so my exercise is deferred to the afternoon yet again . Still, as long as I'm fitting it in, I'm not too worried about the timing, and playing with pictures is important, too :).

I am sticking to the two shakes and a light lunch today as well.
I didn't post yesterday's counts but was happy the carbs were only 9 % of my totals. I really enjoy the pumpkin shakes and even though they are quite high in carbs the fibre count is high as well.
Breakfast: shake
lunch: salad with chicken and avocado
Dinner: shake again
Amy congrats on the head turns!!!
Carol, happy spring break!!! our is coming to an end. I was at school yesterday and plan a couple of hours there today. Starting a new position and I must prep!!
Dutchess: I can't wait to have a ticker line that shows numbers like yours!!!

Maybe he'll take you out for lunch? No, accountants are too frugal!

I'm getting tons of work done today with very few interruptions! The rest of our skeleton crew ordered Chinese. I thought about it, but I've got a perfectly good cauli bake, so I'll have it while I sit with them. I feel bloated today and Chinese won't help the situation.

Thank you :D.
How is your back behaving? It's sort of OK. It's not actually painful, and doesn't limit normal activities much, but there's always a bit of tenderness, and it doesn't like any kind of jarring - like accidentally bumping into something with the side of my hip, for instance. But not being painful is good .
Did your chiropractor manage to improve things for you?

Did your chiropractor manage to improve things for you?Well, it may have worked had I not gone to the gym later yesterday. :o As it stands, I'm re-visiting the chiro this afternoon and I'm going to rest it over the weekend.

That sounds like a good idea. There are times when rest is the right choice (just not as many times as we'd like to think ).

Claudette-- I'm so jealous--where do you find the Hood LC milk. Walmart has quit stocking it and I am so disappointed not to get it any more ! !:crybaby::crybaby::crybaby::crybaby:
Sounds like everyone is really into doing the work in April, that's great. The results ought to be fantastic !!
I'm so tired--went shopping as planned --left around 9 a.m and didn't get back til 4 p.m -- I'm just dragging and I still have to do my exercise for the day. Errrrrgh. But I'm going to do it-- if Shadow sees Janet has 3 for 3 already this month she'll think we all should , at least on the exercise front --I just know it !!:rolleyes:
But other than the exercise I've got it done. I'll be back later.
I blew it...I ate cake...and drank milk...darn it...:crybaby:

My dinner was a mushroom-swiss burger, since I have new block of swiss cheese today. Delicious! I also had a slice of chicken breast and a spoonful of green peas from the boys' dinner.
This time the chiropractor helped. Oddly (to me) he said it was okay to walk and bike moderately, even do some light upper body exercises! He said gentle exercise shortens recovery time. I seem to have come down with a head cold overnight. :suspicious: I also stayed home from the music jam that was scheduled.:crybaby:
Janet, I'm glad you're not in pain.
Amy, I'm sorry you tripped and fell into the cake! :frown:
Karole, good job getting that exercise in, even though you didn't feel like it!
Claudette, glad you're on plan. How are your studies coming?

Hi all. Sounds like everyone had a pretty good day... even Amy who fell into the cake. (Nicely put Carol!)
I had a great meeting this morning, and then did errands, and came home, intent on exercising. I stuck to my food plan but somehow didn't get up to the gym. Drat. I have to get in there tomorrow. That's all there is to it. I'm committing that here. Why is it so hard? I am just hoping to work my way to that place where it becomes easy for a while. The food AND the working out, both in sync. I've been there before and I want to get back.
That's all for today. it was a good day except for the non-exercise. I'll do better tomorrow. And I'll start listing my food. I will get this right!
Thanks for being there!

I don't know where Claudette find Hood's LC milk, but I get mine at Krogers. It's the only store I've found to carry it in a 200 miles radius from where I live, and believe me, I've searched.

Hmmm, I wish we had a Krogers nearby-- they have that Carb Master yogurt too !! Thanks BC for the info. We do have a Krogers about 80 miles from here. Who knows I may even get there one of these days !

I was sick Thursday and Friday, and didn't get much sleep Thursday night. So after breakfast, which was okay, I just kind of picked at food, and didn't record the nibbles. I'm sure I came within my ECC limit, but did not meet my calorie or protein goals.
