"All your life you are told the things you cannot do. All your life they will say you're not good enough or strong enough or talented enough; they will say you're the wrong height or the wrong weight or the wrong type to play this or be this or achieve this. THEY WILL TELL YOU NO, a thousand times no, until all the no's become meaningless. All your life they will tell you no, quite firmly and very quickly.
AND THEN YOU WILL TELL THEM YES."

This thought for the day is to go along with Randy's question yesterday, what would you do if you lost XX pounds? We have been told so many times, in dressing rooms, in the gym, walking down the street, yadda...that it did become rather meaningless. But we can tell them yes and many people here are doing just that?

What is your plan to tell them yes? What is your plan to make the yes happen? Is it perfect on program? Is it exercise or including more meaningful use of your carbs? Is it breakfast? :)

WE have had the power all the time to say yes, it's about time we did!

Have a great on plan day and say yes to yourself!

There are folks whose main purpose in life is to go around with a "NO" face/attitude.

We don't have to buy into this.

Only I can change my attitude. I cannot wait for someone else to tell me yes or no.

I'm saying YES to all my new food choices and enjoying it...instead of "no" to the one's I can't allow and feeling trapped!

CMCole and Missy--absolutely, it is really great to realize that the no's are someone else's problem, not ours! Hellllllloooo Yeses!!!! :o

Billie, it's "Yes, I can follow my dreams." I do think a little bit about my shape during a performance and that pudge makes it a little difficult to crawl around on the ground with my camera to get really inspired shots, but I'm doing it. When I got my new boss last year and he kicked my job up a notch, I was a little nervous about the added responsibility, but I sucked it in and acted "as if" and now I love it. (I'd love it more if he could wangle the pay that should go with it!)
