WOW! Do NOT tell me I'm the only one doing this still!!!

Goal this week: 11 miles... Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday planned

9.5 miles walked...

Monday: 2 miles, 40 minutes I SO did not want to do this, yet STRANGELY KNEW I HAD TO.... It was an incredibly stressful day with a screaming one year old BOY! I'm so proud of me, as I got a sitter for the boys so I could work out... hello?!?!?!!? YEP, it's ME talkin', Warrior Princess! Not long ago, I would have headed to the ice cream freezer, and NOW - because of YOU in my head, and STEVIE'S challenge, I went walkin'!!! :D :p :D

Tuesday: 3 miles, 54 minutes! At a few points, I almost felt like I was flying! And, that, after last night's struggle with two miles!

Thursday: 3.5 miles, in about 60 minutes... a disjointed venture, for sure, but I got it in! :)

Saturday: 1 mile, in 20 minutes. Had planned to go at least three, maybe four, but lightening sent me scurrying. I've been knocked on my bottom by it, and lost a brother to an electrical accident, AND it's been said CO has more lightening strikes than any other state, so I'm quite respectful of it!

Let's ROCK, People! If I can do it, YOU can do it!

Sunday - laid around the house. It felt GOOD!
Monday - about 35 minutes walking total, to interview, to bus, then up the hill after I turned in a rental car
Tuesday - about 30 minutes walking, and another hour pacing on the phone -- does that count?! LOL
Wednesday - cruise to the coffee shop, and back the long way - 15 mins
Thursday - 20 up the hill

No, Sherry, you're not alone. Hey, this is getting to be a habit!

Monday: 20 minutes hallwalking (at a pretty fair pace!)

Tuesday: 25 minutes hallwalking (about a 20-minute mile.) Why can't I stop keeping score???

Wednesday: 20 minutes in the halls

Thursday: 10-minute quickie

Friday: 30 minutes

It IS, Carol! WHOO-HOOOOOOOO!!! That was "nailed home" yesterday when my body said, "We're goin', boys or no boys!", and I went for a walk, instead of the ice cream! I have NEVER felt like I "needed" to work out before to get rid of stress!!!

That's great, because it sounds to me like you're "re-training" your brain to want an exercise rush instead of sugar. Way to go, girlfriend! ;) It's supposed to take 21 days to create a habit. I hope mine's stuck now. I've been staying late at the office to walk the halls without getting sidetracked. On nice days, I circle the grounds. Then I can go home and attend to my family without guilt or resentment.

OK, I'm a terrible procrastinator... but today I went out and did 4 MILES!!! Yay me. I also got to try out my iPod Nano that DH gave me for my birthday which I'm finally starting to fill with music.

I know I can't make 100 by June 5 but I will sure give 50 a try.

Hey Carol, I just noticed it's 21 days until we leave for France! Coincidence? I think not!

21 days is supposed to set a habit, Stevie! ;) :D ;)

Uhm-mmmm... I'm thinking about let's do a second six week, and then a 3rd to get us through the summer?

Would anybody join me? :)

I'll join you, Sherry! It feels so good! And when it's really unpleasantly hot and humid, I'll switch to the rebounder.

Keep pushing me... I started this to kick MY butt!

Music to my ears, Carol :D!

Wow, that's awesome, Sherry :)!!!! See - and you thought I'd been pulling your leg all these years :p!

Keep pushing me... I started this to kick MY butt!
You got it :D!

Miralin and cmcole - Yeah for both of you :)!

Got my walking in for the week. I won't be around next week as I'm on vacation, but you can bet I'll be moving it ;).

Sherry, I'll walk with you for another month. Ya never yell "whoah" at a horse race!

Stevie, I would like to see some posts, my dearl. After all, this is all your fault! Look what you've done to us!!!! :slywink:

Oh, and my BP was 122/68 yesterday after a very stressful, construction-filled drive to the doctor for a regular visit. That sorta trumps 160/90, doesn't it? :D That's your fault, too, Stevie. Thanks, Hon!
