Hi All,

I did 24 minutes on the treadmill doing the hill program and my weight circuit. I also walked to and from the bus to go to work.

Today was a 20 minute walk at lunch and 35 minutes at Curves after work. My intention was to walk for another 20-30 minutes after I got home from Curves and I cut that time short so I'd feel like walking - the weather was absolutely gorgeous and perfect and there aren't many of those evenings left, but.... I was also very tired and laid down for a nap and woke up about 30 minutes ago. Ah, well, at least I got in 55 minutes of movement and a 30 minute walk is planned at lunch on Tuesday. Maybe it will be pretty tomorrow evening too. Or not!

I walked today, hills and all!

Took the subway downtown to a job interview, and walked about 4 blocks to. Walked another 4-5 blocks to catch a bus home (for a change of scenery), walked a little up the hill to the car rental place.

Went and bought a new computer, lugged it up to my apartment. Lugged the old monitor down to the dumpster (it's toast), turned in the car, and walked up my hill all the way home.

About 30 mins, maybe a bit more, total.

(hi everyone)

Today I went to work (waitressing), so that was about four hours of steady movement. Sometimes I don't know if I should count that as exercise or not, seeing as even when I went from sedentary to serving five days a week I lost no weight/felt no different. Ah well.

After that I went to the gym and swam 12 laps, for a total of 1200 meters, in 25.5 minutes. That's down from 32 minutes last month; trying to decrease it by a couple of minutes before I add another four laps.

Wow - how exciting to see so many reporting in :D!

Welcome, Niobe - good to see you here :)! If you count the waitressing depends on your preference. I tend to separate out thoughts of daily activity and exercise but when it comes down to it, it's the movement that counts and the more you do, the better ;).
