Good morning and happy Monday! How was your weekend? A select few of us kept the motor running for the last couple of days and now we want to hear about what YOU were doing!
I mostly puttered. We went to a quinceanera on Saturday and my grandson came yesterday for a sleepover. The living room is a mess! :paranoid:
My gym bag is packed and I've had my shake with supps. Let the week begin! :)

Good morning, all. I ended up A-OK on food yesterday, and since I walked 3 miles, even got in some exercise.
This morning, I'll feeling a bit wonky -- heart is racing so I'm going to lie back down to see if it will quit. BUT this is the first time I've had a tachycardia spell since the new meds over a month ago, so I'm not too upset. It's just inconvenient as it makes me woozy.
I went to a barn dance on Saturday. Otherwise I was switching from summer to winter clothes! I always feel like I just went on a shopping spree when I go through my clothes. I FORGET about things!!!
7am 3egg, 3sausage
11am lc goulash, 4oz pickles, 1c green beans
2pm 2 laughing cow, 2bran crackers
4pm 30 almonds
6:30pm 5oz ground pork, 4 celery stalks, sf jello dessert
Pro: 111.5
Ecc: 23
Fat: 138

Sorry about the tachy episode. Hope you're feeling better!
I went to a barn dance on Saturday. Otherwise I was switching from summer to winter clothes! I always feel like I just went on a shopping spree when I go through my clothes. I FORGET about things!!!Oh yeah! I love to go shopping in my closet. I usually pack away favorite things that might work in the summer just so I can have a reunion in the fall! ;)
The day is going well. Lunch is sausage and flax crackers. Funny, my low fat/HIGH carb boss saw me putting the sausage in the office microwave and blurted out "That looks like SAUSAGE!!!" Poor thing, I think I made him nauseous.:evil::evil:
It's fun isn't it Carol? Love the term "shopping in my closet"!!
BC, are you feeling any better?
I'm snacking on my almonds right now, then heading over to the gym. I am feeling fat and I think a lot of it is because I ceased all work outs?! Why do I do that to myself? Stop what feels good? I am SUCH a glutton for punishment...:frown::mad:.
Anyway...enough of that...I'm eating almonds, then working out. Resistance, maybe 5-10 min on the bike. Just enough to remind my body how good it feels.
Where IS everyone??

Good Morning All...
Monday ... typical Monday! Just checking in. Had a great weekend, it was our oldest daughters b-day on Friday -- So that really meant we had to celebrate it the entire weekend. I did well staying away from the carbs...
Get to start the week out strong!

Afternoon all!
Add me to the list of people feeling wonky. For some unknown reason I was awake for 3 hours last night and then the alarm goes off at 5:30 here. Decided to skip the gym today, but made it to the grocery store and the post office. I was really happy to finally find where they hide the Dreamfield's. All I saw was penne, but I can think of lots of things I can do with that!
Dean...How did BYU do this weekend? My Georgia Bulldogs were idle, but we still watched Wisconsin/OSU. What a game!
Carol...No frozen mango chunks at my store. Have to check out Whole Foods next time I'm there.
Enjoy your day!

Not that I was caring a whole lot ... but they beat an instate semi-rival Utah State 34-14 (NOTE: Utah beat USU 58-10 earlier in the season!)
BYU actually dropped one position in the Polls from 8 to 9.
Morning campers... LBWO happened today.
I went off purist and had bacon for breakfast today. heavenly bacon.
Then I had organic sunnyfield yogurt. I'm due for a protien shake in a minute. My legs are still hopping from the workout.
I am cave painting in my hallway..fun.
Wonky...such a funny word.:D

Carol...No frozen mango chunks at my store. Have to check out Whole Foods next time I'm there.Too bad! I was afraid of that. I'm not a Walmart fan. My mango is Meijer brand. Meijer is a popular store around here.

I am cave painting in my hallway..fun.:D Pictographs? What? I know you well enough to believe you would, Lynn.
Well, I had a lot of Monday leftover at work today. My desk is scattered with papers. I can only hope I remember what to do with it all tomorrow!.
Got my exercise in! :)
Dinner is a mushroom-swiss burger, homemade, with steamed broccoli.
The french cave of Lascaux. I painted the hall yellow and am hoping to figure out how to use a glaze and a wash to make it look like the cave. There is some horse art work with three horses that I love. THe red and the browns, golds and blacks are soooo beautiful. I may do the herd of deer or bison on the oposite wall. The horses are 36" long each on my wall. If I don't like it...it's only paint, I can paint over it.
I did not get a headache from the bacon..
Tonight I made steak in a pouch that I marrinated for two days and spread fresh squished garlic , sliced onions, peppers, and zuchini and threw it on the top shelf of the grill. We could cut it with a fork.

You're going to need a wide-angle lens to get a proper image, and how you're going to light it, I can't say. I want to see it when it's done!
Hawk! Sounds fun! Lots of WORK, but FUN work!!
I followed my food plan to a TEE today. I am SUPER hungry tonight, but this is what happens when I'm actually on plan!
Food is planned for tomorrow, and now I'm going to read. I started reading "You Can't Keep a Good Woman Down" by Alice Walker. So far I'm really enjoying it.
Potassium...duh...what if all my achiness is just from getting back down to business and very purist?? and not taking potassium 4 times a day? I started taking it tonight when it dawned on me. I really hope this does it.
Anthony Colpo had also written me awhile back and asked me to up my fat while I lift wieghts to keep my energy level up and to keep from dragging myself around. I saved his e-mail. Body for life was telling me to up my carbs. He went crazy and told me they are nuts and to stick it out with more fat. It did the trick.

Well, guys and gals, Monday was a lost day as the tachy spell lasted until around 4pm.
Thanks for your concern -- it's a benign condition in that it won't cause heart damage, but it does wear me out when I have a spell.
I won't comment individually as it's already the next day, but I do so enjoy reading all your posts, and am so encouraged by all of you.
