Hi,
I'll get this started. After missing several exercise sessions last week, I'm getting back on track. I did 10 minutes on the bike this morning and my weight circuit. I also walked 10 minutes to the bus and 10 minutes after I got off the bus.

It's great to see you back, Bonnie :)!
Sherry - Way to go, GF! I am super impressed you went for the walk even though you weren't feeling up to it !

Well now ..... oof. I tried part of Slow Burn last night. I say part of, because frankly I couldn't get through it all. I'm having serious problems with the pushups (years of RSI - my hands aren't doing a very good job of holding me up, so I think I'm gonna have to try the wall thing) and the squats, grr, but I'll get there. Trying HAS to count for something, darn it.
Started to walk the mile downhill this morning. Knees were sore before the dash bus stop, so I took the bus instead. I'll try the hill tonight if ankle and knees permit.

Miralin - I too have hand/wrist problems, thanks to RSI, carpal tunnel, arthritis and tendonitis. The wall push-ups are a life-saver! You'll still get a decent workout but won't burn out your body parts :p
Also, try doing squats using an exercise ball between your back and a wall - they're not as difficult to perform as standing ones, but you absolutely "feel the burn" afterwards, and the ball keeps you more stable.
Good luck, and keep up the good work!! We're all rooting for you.

try knuckle pushups if your wrists don't like being "bent" for regular pushups. if you don't like your weight on your knuckles, hold dumbbells - your wrist straightens without your weight on the knuckles.

Miralin - Yes, it definitely counts :D! And don't worry about starting out with only a part of SB - that just gives you a goal to work on ;). Hopefully the knee and the ankle will cooperate so you can get that walk in tonight.
I walked for 20 minutes at Noon and will be heading to Curves in a few minutes, so it should be a 70 minute exercise day for me. YAY!!
ETA: It was a 70 minute workout day for me!!!

thanks for the tips! I got a little cruise in this afternoon, about 15 minutes. And the two and a half blocks home from the bus exhausted me.
I'll try some of these next time I do the slow burn, which prolly won't be for a few days :-)

I got in 28 mn of jogging and did a ton of stretching. It felt great.
I still have yet to do the martial arts/yoga video I just bought since I was away this weekend, but stay tuned!
