Sharon, I'm taking 4,400 IU a day, and I feel like I have more energy, but that's not why I'm taking it so I haven't been tracking pain.

Hi Sharon,

Like Carol I take a fair bit of Vit D3 during the winter ... when I remember:rolleyes: ... but I'd never associated pain relief as one of the benefits (a boost in immune response seems to be one I get), but I looked it up on the Vit D Council's web site and there is a page of reseach (http://www.vitamindcouncil.org/researchChronicPain.shtml) suggesting this could be one of the many benefits of dealing with deficiency. What has been your experience? Care to share the article with us?

Sharon, I read the literature and it seems legit to me. I didn't search for the author, though, to see if there was any negative reviews of his work.

Since I already take D3, I'm happy to find that some of my newly realized pain relief might be because of that.
