My PP buddy at my school asked me a question I didn't know the answer to, so I thought I'd post it here and get some feedback:

When buying protein powder, are there ingredients that you should look out for if you're not doing bodybuilding, but only working on losing fat/building adequate muscle? Is it only important to make sure the carb count is within limits and the protein high enough to help you meet your daily minimum protein?

I'd look for it to be as clean and short as possible, with ingredients you can understand...the protein, the flavorings, maybe a little stevia or sucralose--but nothing much else.
