Good morning, Amy. I'm happy it's Friday, too. It will be busy today because I'm holding down the office alone. There are other people in other parts of the building giving me somebody to talk to. I forgot my lunch, so if the co-op assistant comes in I will run out for a salad. Otherwise, I'm up a crick.

Both guys were up this morning and that always throws me out of my routine. DS sounds like pneumonia. DH was up and asking me opinions and technical questions. I didn't sleep well again last night, so I'm groggy and running on impulse power.

We're invited to a co-ed wedding shower tonight, which DH can't seem to get into his head. He said not to forget I had a shower tonight and I said *WE* have a shower tonight.

I will still get my gym time in. I worked out harder last night so I can do a light one tonight and get home in time. :) My gift to myself!

Good morning, Carol and Amy--

I'll be busy today too, helping a friend get some stuff done in her house. She's having surgery on Monday, so she'll be laid up for a bit. I need to get some protein powder and some vitamins, so I'll do that on the way to her house.

Food today--nothing yet, but I'll have a protein shake before I leave and munch on some pepperoni bites and cheese on the trip to her house (about an hour). We'll probably get some lunch/supper midafternoon. Then if I need something else, I have chicken already grilled for when I get home.

Carol, sorry you're running on empty this morning. I hate it when I don't sleep well. Sounds like your day is pretty busy!

Amy, do you usually avoid any snacking after supper? I noticed you didn't write anything down. I ask, just because evening snacking is such a big issue for me.

Have a great day!

Hi all. Busy as a bee here also. Having another grand son in from Ky. in fact he is on the way now. They will be here for a week and will be going to the trail ride with us. He went with us every year for 9 years when he was a kid -- then girls and or cars intervened and he is just now able to get back. He is really excited about it too.

Anyway, I am trying to get things straightened up extra nice plus taking some stuff out to our camper today. I thought I'd take a little break before I get back at it tho.

Carol ,I am sending hugs out, hope you feel up to par tomorrow. Maybe you'll be able to get some rest tonight !!

My gift will be to do my meditation cd after while, during my second break. I really like the way it relaxes me .

Thanks, ladies. I went across the street to Subway and got a salad with double meat, some cheese, vegetables, and I am just fine! Their idea of double meat is my ideal of *half* meat. ;)

DS has only a severe upper respiratory infection and not pneumonia, so thank the Lord for small favors. He felt so bad I didn't even have to nag him to go to the doc.

For having short sleep, I've got a great attitude today. I'm putting out fires, learning new software, cleaning up files; unroutine stuff. :)

Carol...way to MAKE it a great day!!

I am seriously fighting hunger today...:peeved:.
I have had a LOT of protein, and all had plenty of fat, and very few carbs, but I'm H U N G R Y!!!!!:mad::mad:

I'm going to have a HB egg, slice of cheese, and some pea pods, then go workout. My plan tonight is a Caesar salad with chicken.

I can do this....I can, I will, I AM doing this!!!
I don't have to give in to cravings. Eating a scone will NOT make me feel better!

RIGHT??? RIGHT!!!!!!!!!

Eating a scone will NOT make me feel better!

RIGHT??? RIGHT!!!!!!!!!

Correct! A scone will give you phlegm, take you away from your goal of losing weight and fitting into that next size AND it will make you sleepy, less productive and who wants to feel like crap on a Friday Night?
