In order to get along well in this world, you must learn to perceive accurately your immediate circumstances and surroundings, and to perceive also what you are headed for in the future.
Paramahansa Yogananda

It is that word accurately that causes us some problems huh? If we accurately would have known that for example eating low fat was going nowhere, our futures might have been different. The good thing however is that we do have accurate information about our circumstances, our bodies, our health, and we can know where are future is heading. We can control that now, with accurate solid scientifically backed information.

Keeping ourselves accountable with accurate information is so important. I have a couple people I work with, that I have to contiually ferret out information that is accurate, not over embellished or under thought. It can be so deceiving.

I used to do that alot with eating programs, always living in the lala land of the future, if I was thin, if I was this or that reality is much better based, it causes us to take actions to turn into correct directions. It also I believe helps a great deal to focus on health rather than inches or pounds, makes life so much easier to know you are doing the right thing for the right reasons.

Well it's Monday so hope it is a great day with challenges to hurdle safely today and full of anticipation that you are doing something great about your future.

Have a great day! I don't know of any quote that has TGIM involved, but somedays it is all about attitude for smooth sailing! Bring on Monday!

Another "good one" Billie! :D That's the difference for me now...because I feel that I now KNOW what my purpose is..as I gain more confidence each day in this program.

Prior to finding this program, this site, I would waller around in "attempts" kinda sorta knowing I was doing right, but now I know...now I know why I can't give up, or get too far out of hand. That's major.

Not knowing where exactly to turn for solid information is also a factor. Perhaps it's because we are so accustom to being "sold" to. That we lump together ANY incoming information as though it's just another fad.

Accurate perception has a great deal to do with my self-honesty. I can fool myself for a while but if I "forget" to count all the incidental carbs I consume, I'm the only one who suffers. As math-oriented as I am, you'd think that would be a no-brainer!
