Good morning! Have at any wackiness that you may be suppressing. :)
I'll be back later to check it out.
I'll work on the Wackiness...
First my reporting.
Last night, along with getting my scheduled gifts (sounds like an oxymoron doesn't it??) completed, I also finished my Non-profit stuff AND put away the clothes in my room that I'd been putting off.
I didn't realize I struggled with procrastination as much as I think I do. I shouldn't say that...I do get quite a bit accomplished, it's the things that aren't on a huge deadline that I can procrastinate. Hard to explain without lots of examples...let's just say I learned something new about myself!
Last night I was able to weed the garden and thin the beets. It was the only day that the garden was some-what dry, so I had to jump on it! It's storming again today. The news keeps talking about the flooding in Iowa City. My sister lives there, but she's on a great big hill, so no worries about her and her home. But they go and drive around the river to see it because it's bursting at it's seams. The college (University of Iowa) is right along the river...so let's hope things dry up a bit down there. Same problem in Wisconsin and southern MN..WAY too much water!
It's a full day today. Work 8 hrs, after work I have 2 conference calls (30min each), then I finish the day with a meeting. I should be home around 9pm (I hope). So I'm not sure about my gifts today. Lessee...
1. Don't worry about squeezing in a workout.
2. Do the jumble and suduko.
Okay, that feels good, feeling like I don't have to fit in a workout if there isn't time is a weight off my shoulders. And making sure I take 10minutes out of my day to do the puzzles which I love to do, feels like a nice gift.
Meals are planned and packed for the entire day:
7am 2eggs, 2turkey links, 1lc toast, final blueberry crepe
11am 4oz taco meat, .5oz cheese, s.cream, lettuce, 1/4c blueberries
3pm sf rice pudding, 30 almonds
5:30pm chix fried rice, 10peanuts, 2oz cheese, 3bran crackers
Pro: 131
ecc: 41
fat: 134
cal: 1992
OH, I finally dropped another pound. Wonder if it's related to me eating more fat/calories???

Wacky Wednesday
1. Swimming - canceled - I'm still PINK! ok... RED! The sun got me good this weekend and I want to nurse it. I was thinking about going to a movie though...
2. Sleep - I had a great sleep EXCEPT for the 1 1/2 I was up waiting for this baby to move a little. I woke up in a panic and the baby wasn't moving so I waited until I felt movement and then crashed. I plan to stay up until 11pm tonight and wake up at 7am. We'll see if going back to structured sleep will be better for mommy & baby!
3. Reading - LOVIN' IT!
4. Food - Had a great day yesterday and plan the same for today. I am loving my chocolate protein shakes (1TBPS heavy whipping cream, 1 cup of water) So tasty!
5. House Management- I have plans to clean my bedroom and get it organized. This also means folding clean clothes that have been staring at me for 2 days.
6. Relaxing - My goal is to not get flustered today. Walk through the whole day in a relaxed state of mind.

Plans for today:
Had my BP checked this morning--124/76--and that was OFF my BP medication. All I'm taking now is a fluid pill (besides my supplements).
Now I'm at work, if you want to call it that. No appointments, just babysitting the learning center. It's a great way to get things accomplished preparing for the fall.
I had a roast beef and cheddar wrap for brunch. I brought a protein shake with me to work. For supper it'll probably be salad with some shredded roast beef (I really need to get it finished up).
Last evening I did not oversnack. I had some SF pudding at 9:00, took my dog for a walk at 11:00 and went upstairs. I still didn't get to sleep until 1:00 because I just wasn't tired enough, but the whole eating thing was much better yesterday.
Amy, does that cartoon also imply that we should be buying smaller couches? :)

ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!!
:nod::nod::nod::nod::nod:
Our shrinking backsides!!!:lol: We should all buy LOVESEATS!!!:lol::lol:
I have had coffee today. Still experiencing nausea. I think I'll go for the Microfiltered Whey. Other than that I am full of wackiness today.
I had a delightful conversation with my mother this morning. We laughed at all the wackiness in our family and made fun of ourselves. It was great. Who knows what's around the next corner! We can choose to have Joy or choose not to. I choose Joy.
I hope you all have a joy filled day.:D

Yay, Ruth! I'm going to be there someday. Proud of you, kiddo!
Amy, that cartoon was precious. I think it's okay to schedule gifts, in fact it's important if you want to get it in. I saw those Iowa flood photos, too. We're checking with friends to see if everyone's got power. We're supposed to have another storm on Friday.
Feelix, you are really making changes, aren't you? I love the ones you pick, too. What do you put on your sunburn? We use Sarna lotion for sensitive skin.
I pretty much stayed in bed today with the remodeling going on beneath my bed. :p The cough I've had turned into a classic cold and I can't breathe. I could smell the paint, though. ;) You'd think that would have ben a decongestant, wouldn't you?
I think staying home was my gift, but I really didn't have an option. My eating is on plan, but light. No appetite. (that means I'm really sick!)
Don't take life too seriously...no one gets out alive.
A hang over is the wrath of grapes.
Ham & Eggs. A days work for a chicken,A life committment for a pig.

Lynn, ya nut! :D I forgot to wish you joy back, but my head is stuffed with fuzz.
I agree...Lynn ya nut! Course we LOVE you that way!!!
I'm heading out for my meeting tonight. One conference call cancelled so I have a touch more time on my hands!!! LOVE that!
Been raining all day, very grey, but we're not flooding so I'm not complaining!
Hope you all are well (especially you Carol!!), I'll check back tonight.

Carol, I'm sorry you're still feeling bad:(.
I had a lovely couple of days away. It was raining before we went, and it's raining now, but we had solid sunshine all the time we were away. I favoured protein and fat in my menu choices, but it was still much carbier than my normal food. And more of it. I'm looking forward to getting back to my usual food routine. English breakfasts in hotels are always easy for low carbers, though :D.

Wacky Wednesday
1. Swimming - canceled -Movie - too lazy - So I stayed home and had a day off. I ended up with some Braxton Hicks and took it easy. nothing like a shot of pain to remind you to take it easy and grow a baby!
Carol- I am using aloe vera for the sun burn.
2. Sleep - baby moved like crazy today so I guess it was just wanting to actually sleep through the night!
3. Reading - read tons today and LOVED every word! still have a little to do tonight!
4. Food Great day food wise 40 carbs. I'm about to eat 5 more carbs before I go to bed. :-) I was able to make rice for my hubby (he asked for it to go with his brat I had fried up) and wasn't even tempted. :DProud to say the least!
5. House Management-Complete Failure due to my day of relaxing through braxton hicks. I figure its a valid reason but the task is still staring me in the face!
6. Relaxing I complete managed this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I lost Wednesday. Woke up sick to my stomach and couldn't keep anything down all day. Even water popped right back up. I guess in one way, that meant I had a "good" day -- 0 carbs and 2 lbs. weight loss. But what a way to lose weight. :(
I thoroughly enjoyed reading your funnies this morning. Thank you for starting my day with a laugh.
BC...sorry about the stomach upset!! YUCK!!
I bought a "snuggler" when I was larger (recliner that is larger than a normal recliner but not as big as a love seat...fits two people, but they are forced into a "snuggling" position...hence the name SNUGGLER), and now I feel so tiny in it...I can curl my entire body up into the seat...but I wouldn't have it taken in for a million dollars..I LOVE IT!!
:D
Didn't do so well with the gifts. Felt relieved I gave myself permission NOT to workout, I would have really been running crazy if I would have had to sneak that in.
I also didn't get to my puzzles...didn't have a break until 11pm, and I'm usually in bed by 9:30, so I just went to bed.
