Hard Lemonade Drink

1 Tbsp "Hard Lemonade" Lemonade syrup
1 cup ice cold water
1 ˝ ounce vodka
ice
Mix water and syrup together. Add vodka and ice. Stir and enjoy! Extra sweetener can be added if necessary.
Hot Lemon Soother

1 Tbsp "Hard Lemonade" Lemonade syrup
1 cup boiling hot water
1 or 2 whole cloves
sweetener to taste if necessary
Spiced rum to taste
Mix the syrup into the hot water adding sweetener if you like. Drop in the cloves and top with some spiced rum. This is excellent for soothing a sore throat. (Leave the rum out for a nonalcoholic soother).
"Hard Lemonade" Lemonade Syrup

1 cup lemon juice (5-6 lemons)
˝ cup water
zest of 1 lemon
1 cup SplendaŽ
With a sharp knife, peel yellow rind from lemon in thin strips. (Be careful not to get too much of the white pulp which will make it taste bitter.)
Combine rind, juice and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer about 3 minutes.
Cool, strain and stir in SplendaŽ. Store in glass jar or bottle in refrigerator.
