Ok today I stepped a little bit outside my comfort zone with the hopes that I wouldn't make a total and utter fool of myself and ..... I DIDN"T lol Yippieeee.... Usually today I would have done 60 min of cardio and a few core exercises but I decided to try a class instead.
Description of class...
9:00 - 9:30 kickboxing aerobics
9:30 - 10:00 muscle flex & abs

WOW it was great, I really enjoyed myself and surprised myself with being able to keep up with the class. Was worried a bit at how my knees would be but they were strong and I had no problems. We'll see how they are later tonight and then tomorrow morning! lol

Who else is shakin it today?

Way to go!!!

I am waylaid with various and sundry physical ailments. I'll keep checking in, but right now the best I'm doing is getting on the bus at an earlier stop in the route (thereby walking farther from my house to hop on) for the connecting bus, or getting off a stop earlier at night.

THAT is great! At least you are still moving and thats what counts. Keep moving as much as you can while still resting and taking care of the aliments and you'll be back in action before you know it!

Ally - I am so very proud of you :D! Way to go getting some variety in!!!

Miralin - At least you're doing what you can do right now and that deserves full credit :)!

I don't know yet what tonight's movement will be, probably a walk - just not sure if outside at home or at the mall. Guess that depends on weather and when I leave the office, which should be soon!

Good luck everyone, and good going to those upthread!!!!!!!!!!

I actually did manage to sneak in about another 15-20 minutes with that whole bus stop thing. *cheer* I think the secret is doing several short trips, rather than one or two long ones. It's not much, but at this point what I can do is what I can do, and I'm satisfied with that.

Miralin - Yeah for you :D!

Alice - I just love hearing when someone has alternative plans to accomodate the weather! A gold star to you :)!

Last night's exercise wound up being 25 minutes at Curves, going around the circuit once, but doing some of the machines twice or three times, plus the cardio stations in between each machine, and closing out with stretching. Then I stopped by the Mall on the way home and walked one lap there, another 15 minutes. So, in the end, I did get 40 minutes of extra, good-quality movement in my day! I was pleased with that!
