I am a new member and I am just restarting the PP plan again. My hubbie and I both lost 25 lbs:p approx. 6 years ago using the PP and we have loosely incorporated this into our lifestyle. Unfortunately I had fallen off the wagon and recently hit a brick wall when I have started going through an early menopause:eek: . My metabolism has ground to a stop and I gain weight by looking at it. Unfortunately I do not just "look" and am addicted to carbs especially chocolate and sweets!! I am 20 lbs overweight with a family history of metabolic syndrome and Diabetes type 2. My husband is very much onboard and doing well with the plan. A few years ago I tried the Phase 1  and didn't get the same results that I did previously (lost 25 lbs in 2 1/2 months). Would welcome any suggestions. Today is my start day....wish me luck. {heading downstairs to the eliptical machine} Thanks in advance
Glenda

"Good luck", Glenda! :p

And, welcome too... ask anything, any time, we're here for you! :)

As for the 2nd time around, some times it's harder, and the "golden opportunity" when the weight "falls off" has already been taken the first go 'round. HOWEVER, that is NOT to say that you won't lose this time... STICK WITH IT, and you will win!
