I posted these 'winning thoughts' this weekend, and when I re-read them this morning, I decided they really deserve a little more focus. How does a winner think? Part of thinking like a winner is making winning thoughts a regular part of your day...choosing affirmations or sayings that you can use to remind yourself that you're a winner. So let's share the wealth of winning thoughts...
What's your favorite affirmation or winning thought?

Have a great Wednesday, everyone!

Billie's set us all thinking about the ways we are rich today--and it's time to take another positive step in building our new habits by focusing on how winners think. I found this list of winning thoughts (exerpted from the book Think Like a Winner! by Dr. Walter Doyle Staples):

"If you want to get the results that winners get, you must first think like a winner thinks!"

So how does a winner think? Here is a list of the ten core beliefs that are unique to all peak performing men and women. Consider each one carefully, and imagine what your world would begin to look like if you held the same beliefs and made them a part of your life today.

Winners are not born, they are made.

The dominant force in your existence is the thinking you engage in.

You are empowered to create your own reality.

There is some benefit to be had from every adversity.

Each one of your beliefs is a choice.

You are never defeated until you accept defeat as a reality, and decide to stop trying.

You already possess the ability to excel in at least one key area of your life.

The only real limitations on what you can accomplish in your life are those you impose on yourself.

There can be no great success without great commitment.

You need the support and cooperation of other people to achieve any worthwhile goal.

Wow, everybody must have been busy this weekend! Those are all great guidelines, Pat. Here's what I tell my family:

Don't choose a profession simply because it looks good on paper. Follow your passion.
