I'm having difficulty falling asleep these days. I "fill" my restlessness with coming back out to the computer and learning MORE about this plan and various information till the tylenol pm finally kicks in. Which is great...but I'm getting tired of taking the tylenol pm and would rather fall asleep naturally.

Does anyone else find that they go through this? Any suggestions?

Missy I remember early on that huge rush of wanting to know more and feeling so very energetic. I think that comes with riding the bod of those nasty sugary carbs, you just get out of carb slug and it's like mine I have some energy! It will settle down and moderate as your body adjusts. Sleep is dear though, so I understand! Ouch!

It can be a side effect of ketones in the blood. It usually settles down after a few days, but drinking plenty of water, to help your body get rid of excess ketones can help, and doing some exercise to burn some of them up might help too (that's what the Eadeses suggest in Staying Power). Or you can increase the carbs at your evening meal slightly.

Billie....yes, I'm quite "hyped" these days...more mentally then feeling so physically....:rolleyes: lol Even though I don't mind doing my routine of exercise as well. I'm just not FULL of energy to DO things...but I am so to research! :D

Mitra, your most probably right...since I think my body these days are giving off all sorts of signs that that's what it's doing...despite those ketone strips showing that I am. :rolleyes:

I just hate laying awake and not sleeping! Nor am I sleeping in late to make up for it. I hope it passes soon! :o
