Hello;

I just found a new Tortilla called Hemp Tortilla from French Medow Bakery. It is a gluten free tortilla with only 2 ECC and 10 grams of protein.

I looked up there web site for more information about there products thinking that they might have some other neat products. There was no mention of the Hemp Tortillas on there web site, I contacted them, and the Hemp Tortillas have been discontinued, much to my disapointment. They said they are working on a new formulation of tortilla and that it will be available later this spring. They did not tell me if it is going to be low in carbs or not. I have a message into them to find out more details.

I am wondering if anyone knows of any other tortillas on the market that are gluten free and low in carbs? I had never found anything like these before, they seemed too good to be true, and they were!

I have heard about papadums as well, but have been unable to find them, are they like tortillas?

How disappointing! :( Do they freeze well? Can you buy up a bunch while they're still available?

Isn't that always the way it is--find something great and they stop making it. Makes me so mad. Glad you are getting the other packages before they are gone. Keep looking, maybe something else will turn up.

Jamie, pappadums are like lentil crackers that are tortilla size--in boxes. Find them in the specialty/ethnic area of the grocery store, or in the cracker aisle, or at your local Asian grocery. They keep a loooong time.

Shorwood makes one brand.
