Hi All,
I got back my bloodwork numbers today and charted out a 4 year history. It totally amazed me that I could tell when I was eating low carb and when I was off.
History: ...........1/04..... 5/05...... 4/06..... 11/06.... 6/07.... 1/08
Cholesterol....... 231...... 195........ 204..... 172 .......182...... 168
Trig. .................281...... 217........ 168..... 151....... 143....... 79
HDL .................39......... 34.......... 33....... 38......... 35........ 38
LDL .................136....... 118......... 137..... 104....... 118...... 114
(I tried to get these all to stay in columns but, when I save - they won't:mad:!:jawDrop::eek: So, I hope dots work!
I lost 65 lbs. between 2004 - 2006 Then, January 2008 - I'm starting again. The drop was amazing. From 231 to 172. Now, I am going at it again before it went up to far (182) and already there is a drastic difference. I didn't do any exercise between '04 and '06. Now, I've added exercise to the quotient - I believe my HDL will show a positive move up and LDL will go down even further. Time will tell.
I thought one of you might be interested in these events since, I will be getting my bloodwork done again in another 6 months.
I'll let you know then if the trend continues!:exclamation:
I feel I am one of the living "proofs" that this plan works in lowering cholesterol.
Sharon
