protein bar before trip to Y at 8:00 am

b chocolate- peanutbutter shake

l mixed salad greens topped with tuna, chicken salad, and shrimp salad

d I had the "O'Adkins special" at our local Irish pub consisting of a large crab cake, a 4 oz. filet and zucchini.

I also have another protein bar with me in case of need.

Bonnie, nice menu, it looks like you were prepared with that extra protein bar just in case, you know that preparation ahead of time makes such a difference and good selection on the local Irish pub--no Irish beer? ;)

Monitor Monday
B-protein smoothie, 2% carb countdown milk, ricotta, protein powder, flaxseed, frozen strawberries
S-24 almonds & HB Easter egg
L-can of tuna w/mayo & lemon pepper
S-greek yogurt w/protein powder & 1/2 cup blueberries
D-leftover baked ham, 1/2 sweet potato w/butter & cinnamon & string beans

Saw that Easter egg and my mind went to carb porn--way to go! Not sure what your carb count was but using up those carbs for a half of a sweet potato is a ncie treat. Yum!

Viking Dan

Breakfast: two cheesburgers, normandy veggies w/ butter, coffee and heavy cream
Lunch: Coffee, coffee and more coffee

Ah Dan, do we have a problem?:D Looks like you and I were not on program yesterday...coffee coffee and more coffee, what about lunch and dinner?

Randy

Breakfast: Cheese, Pate, nuts

Snack: 1/4 cup peanuts

Lunch: half chicken, dozen strawberries

Snack: 2 LC chocolate bars, 6 stalks celery

Dinner: Orangecicle Shake with half banana, tsp. cinnamon, Davinci, ice cubes and 1/2 cup yogurt

I'll be above 60 ECC and with foods I would normally choose differently.

Yeah your carbs were higher than you normally have but you are also in maintenance and can afford those days on occasion huh! Eating on the road is not easy and I think you did it quite well Randy

Aaron

B: coffee/splenda/cream

L: will be something fast food...I won't know til I get it...

D: whatever surfaces when I get home...just hope it's not a small child...hehehe

S: 3/4 serving Lindt 85% choc (that's about all I can handle at once...can you believe that???); 2 servings of trail mix (5 ECC and 8 g protein/serving)

hmm you and I were not the banner children yesterday were we? But at leas you have a chance to fill in and it could be an awesome rest of the day!

Postings are down on monitor Monday and its interesting the day after a holiday sometimes we get through the holiday and do well but the day after can be bad...that's my story for Monday!

The great thing is this is Tuesday and we are back in control and eating well!

No Irish beer.:( Though when I'm not counting carbs they do have Smithwicks. They did have a very nice red wine that I did have. :)

I had coffee for breakfast and yogurt on Monday morning.
Lunch was a quiznos salad with roast beef and cheese
Dinner was leftover ham and califlower mock potato salad.
I ate a small bowl of yogurt with raspberries when I took my last antibiotic.
Not a lot of protien not alot of excersize, but I'm in survival mode.

My daschsund can hear the lid coming off the yogurt no matter how quiet I am and he races into the kitchen and leaps and leaps until I put a spoonful in his dog dish.

Well, I wish I COULD say it was an awesome rest of the day, but...lunch was a double quarterpounder (w/bun) and a side salad...not the WORST choice, but I could've ditched the bun...

...and that was it for the day. I'm not sure how I made it on that little food, but it was a busy, busy day.

Billie, what's in your Iced Latte - and do you get it out somewhere (like Starbucks) or make it at home? It sounds good!
