Just wondered could eating too little cause people to crave carbs?
Also I was wondering if I eat too much is the only real impact just a stop in weight loss as long as I limit carbs?

Remember that consuming adequate protein is a key to making PP work. If you eat that much protein and 30 to 40 ecc (carb count with fiber deducted) I have found that cravings just about go away.
Have you done the math and found out what your minimum protein requirement is? In my experience, it's more likely that you're getting carbs that have escaped your count, which would encourage cravings. I also believe it's possible to eat so much fat so that your body burns what you have eaten before the stored fat.
Is that answer helpful? I'm not entirely sure what you're asking here.

Thanks for the reply.
To make my question more clear, I had done protein power before and recently I just started back on it about 3 days ago.
I remember when I did protein power in the past I didn't have so much of a great craving for carbs as I did today and wondered if the reason was because my calories are too low.
Now that I think about it could it be that since its only my 3rd day I am having withdrawel symtoms associated with cutting carbs? This never happened to me in the past when I did protein power and was curious why.

Simple it could be because you are only 3 days in for sure. Sometimes our minds also play tricks. Fill up on protein, good fats seem to satisfy, drink lots of water and get into the 10 day arena and then lets reassess. I am betting it is holiday, carb, everything withdrawal at this point. Stay in touch!

I think Billie is probably right about only being 3 days in and the holidays.
I've been doing Protein Power for 8 months now and not had any problems sticking to the plan. A couple factors have cropped up that have me dealing with some serious carb cravings.
The first one is the holidays. It's my first time through the holidays on the plan and it's been rough. Thanksgiving was surprisingly easy and I expected Christmas to be the same. I blame all the delicious looking candy and cookies that are more abundant at my family parties at Christmas than Thanksgiving.
The other issue is that my wife is pregnant. As such, she's eating more carbs than before. It makes it harder when I see her eating off plan to keep myself focused. I've probably inched over my carb count a couple times but I've avoided any big splurges.
I'm looking forward to getting to maintenace level (long long time from now). I'll probably plan to stumble upon one of those honey trees around Christmas :)
