Breakfast: chocolate-peanut butter shake

Lunch: chicken salad on a bed of lettuce.

Dinner: some sort of crockpot meal with beef, mixed veggies (brocolli, cauliflower, baby carrots). I threw in some minced garlic and minced onion. I don't know how this will turn out, but DH has choir at 7, DD will be stopping in to eat before choir, and DGD (center of the universe) will be there. So I had to quickly put something in the crockpot before leaving for work since we will be running in between 6 and 6:30.

I have a protein bar and some pecans with me if I need a snack.

YAY Jenny YOU started it!!
Breakfast::this morning I had ..... ANTIBIOTICS and stonyfield creamy organic plain yogurt.... How awesome.
I needed to add some protien powder but if it would have made it grainy it would not have gone down.
Lunch: same unless I can swallow later
Dinner: same

Bonnie, I may make your idea for my husband in the crock pot. It sounds good.
Billie, I picked up some fresh asparagus on the way home from the doctor yesterday. If I can get all the hard stuff cut off and steam it just right, I thought I might get it soft enough to go down.

I've got a very good week behind me now and three great Curves workouts!! So, today I can proudly post my day so far here:

early morning: #1) RTD Atkins shake; 1 string cheese (mozarella); hot tea/splenda

mid-morning: #2) 4 oz. tuna, 1T mayo, 2T dill pickle relish; hot tea/splenda

noon: #3) Night Hawk frozen meal (beef patty and yellow squash w/ pimento - 4 ecc's); 1-scrambled egg; large strawberry, 1/2c blackberries

=======

In fridge if afternoon snack is needed, some more scrambled egg (from catering today); also have more string cheese with me. Right now I'm just as comfy as can be!!

I have a big, fancy dinner to go to tonight, but I do usually do very well when eating out. I'll log my daytime foods in my Excel program counter before I go so I know how much veggie, fruit, wine I can have!

Over the weekend, I updated my Excel counter with items I now use and removed some I no longer use, and it's felt great entering my food in it the past two days. HOPEFULLY the straying time is now past and I can get myself back where I was.

HUGS!!

============

I did eat the scrambled eggs and a string cheese mid-afternoon.

The dinner party was lovely - I could have done better, but could have done worse. For the 'bad' part, I ate part of a roll, part of the potato skin (little bit of potato attached) and tasted the mini-desserts (three of them, eating about 1/3 of each). On the good side, appetizers included mini crab cakes (tiny amount of breading, if any); tortilla soup (included chicken and avocado, I left the tortilla strips); the insides of a warm lobster taco (cheesy too) and strips of jicama; for the meal, I chose the grilled halibut and it came with several stalks of asparagus (and the afore-mentioned potato); then the afore-mentioned dessert. A few ounces each of Merlot and Cabernet was enjoyed as well.

Sooo, it was very late when I got home, the honoree was well honored (high management retiree), lots of good will, hugs, laughs and a few tears (as it really hit me that my boss is the next to retire in a few months) throughout the evening. I did not try to log the dinner to get counts. It is what it is. I DID NOT get enough sleep last night and had to be back to work about an hour early, so really looking forward to sleep time tonight! That will follow a visit to Curves!

Today has been on target.
