Just thought I'd step in and save Max from having to start us off again ;).

My food and exercise are just rumbling along as usual. I've picked up some books that are helping with the habit I picked to work on this month of just doing one thing at a time. It's very slow, but I do feel that I'm starting to make some progress, and that when I get it right it makes a big difference to how I feel.

Hi, Mitra, thanks for starting the thread today.

I won't be long here as I want to finish my coffee and go for my walk. I just feel sooooooo much better when I get my day going that way. Energizes me and I'm ready for the day afterwards.

Hi to every one that will be here soon.

Thanks. Was busy writing something that I do every Friday morning. Or at least I'm trying to get in the habit of that. Getting better.

I have, been up, taken meds, done the gym, eaten post breakfast, done my Friday writing thing, and am primed to buy Van Halen tickets in about an hour. Day will probably be downhill from there.

Happy Friday to you too, Shadow! :D

The Chicago storm missed my town because we're a little farther north. Close enough to hear the thunder, though! That was a bad one. Thousands without power!

It's been a weird day so far. Started out with a proper breakfast (meatloaf again) and there's only a skeleton crew in the office so it's been very quiet. Working uninterrupted is a very strange feeling! Anyway, I suddenly got an idea for rearranging the furniture in my very small living room, so I'm antsy to get home and try it.

I did my meditation and some stretching. I'll probably do the big routine from head to toe this evening like I did yesterday. I feel like I'm making progress already.

Lynn, I'm so happy you heard from Jon!

Carol, Doesn't it drive you crazy, when you get an AH ha moment and you have to wait?? I hope it turns out as well as you see it in your mind.

I have one coat of paint on shutters in the garage. The lumber Co. is due back to lift the shingles up. Still 90% chance of rain. He can do it as long as there is no down pour or lightning....

Yes, it does. I plan it all out in my head and then when I get there I can see why it's not going to work, usually. ;) All that brain work! Either that, or it stretches the Geezer's comfort circle too far.

Our whole county is under several rain clouds. Looks like it may last a while, too. I hope your paint gets a chance to dry, Lynn!

The shingles are up on the ridge, and as they were finished stacking the bundles on the roof, the rain came again!!! Two guys showed up to help. They are all down stairs playing pool with music blasting in the air conditioning. It may be raining but the heat and humididty are still high.

Dinner is being delivered tonight from loving friends who want to help but are too old to be up on the roof. YAY!!! They said it would be dreamfields pasta with turkey and sauce of somekind and cheese.

My shutters are not drying inthe garage because the humidity is so high.grrrr I need to give them a second coat.

Well today I had eggs and bacon for breakfast. A very large frozen strawberry protien shake for lunch and dreamfields spaghetti pie is coming for dinner with salad.

The sun'll come out TOMORRow.. tomorrow...

Mark a yes for today please. Just squeeked by on the protein, but I made it. carbs are very well under the 30 ecc level so all is good on that front.

We went out to eat and dh had the fried catfish he so loves. I had the grilled chicken salad with ranch. It was good and it was filling.

Wow this month is about gone isn't it.

Hope everyone is doing well today.

I'm a yes for today as well. Flossing to come, but everything else cool. We went to Fridays. I had key west shrimp, which was marked as low carb. I didn't bother with the broccoli, which wife said wasn't good anyway. So, very low. I alternated diet coke with water, and only downed 2 cokes, instead of the usual 3+. Nice.
