I'm new to the site but not LC. Have been reading Dr. Eades' blogs and found info that has really captured my interest and inspired me to switch to PP.
Now the question..... actually two. When counting the grams for meat, do you use cooked or uncooked weight?
This last month I got serious with LC and have been learning to eat only when hungry. As a result, I find that I usually eat just twice a day. Problem two..... I am finding it difficult to get in enough calories and protein. Amazingly...hunger has gone.
For instance, I'm trying IF (24/24). Yesterday I fasted until evening meal which consisted of a flatout wrap with chicken, red sweet peppers, butter and cream cheese, green beans, yogurt w/ blackberries. Was stuffed!
Today...my eating day, I wasn't hungry until noon. Cooked a 16oz. flat-iron steak. Ate half plus more yogurt w/berries. Still not hungry but plan, sometime yet tonight, to eat the rest of steak with some kind of rich sauce and veggie.
After cooking the steak the weight dropped to 12oz. So.....by eating it all will I have eaten 84g or 112g of protein? Thanks for help. Hope I'm posting this in the right place.
