I was visiting with my endocrinologist this morning. Of course he is thrilled that I have such great blood sugar control following Dr. B's program, but he is concerned about the long term effects of so much meat on my LDL. My cholesterol levels (including LDL) have been steadily decling (and are now in the normal range), so I am not worried. I thought there were published studies showing that low carb/high protein diets do not elevate cholesterol/LDL. I told my doc I would try to email him some citations from the peer reviewed literature. Can anyone help me out with this?

As you are keeping you carbs low, your LDL should be the large particle type.
