Insulin resistance and insulin med

[Omlette]

I am in my 27th week of preg. I'm not following the program as I should, but do try to watch my diet some. I just have not been able to get my head and my actions hooked up yet. I have been watching my BG numbers with my meter for the past 5 wks. My OB told me that he may have to put me in insulin for my fasting number. My numbers after eating are pretty reasonable, it just my first morning number.

If I am insulin resistant, is more insulin really going to help?

Of course, I know the plan would take care of a lot of this, but ........(I really have no good excuses).
