From Lizi145 we have:

B-LC bagel, LC shake
S-blackberries
L-steak & asparagus
S-soynuts
D-PP Fluffy Pancakes

Lizi you certainly stayed within carb contents it looks like but where the heck are you veggies? Did you just have one of those breakfast for dinner kind of days after that nice yummy steak and asparagus? Speaking of asparagus, gosh they have been great lately! Good job!

Breakfast: Iced latte (BADBADBAD)

Lunch: kiwanis meeting, most probably mystery meat and side salad with fresh veggies--as it turned out, ham, 1/2 c +/- green beans and side salad with fresh bro, cauli and carrots

Dinner: Chicken in dill sauce, fresh asparagus, raspberry parfait, Raspbery martini

Billie, maybe your habit for the April challenge should have been breakfast eating...when will you learn?

From Gwanny
Breakfast - 3 eggs and 2 1/2 pieces of bacon
tea

Lunch - chicken breast and a salad with bleu cheese dressing

snack - protein shake

Dinner - I don't know!!! Anyone want a guest for dinner this evening?
Norma I am betting you had a nice evening meal to go with the rest of your day, what say you?:D

From Randy
Breakfast: Chicken leg, 10 almonds - Rushed out the door this morning

Snack: Small Banana, Banana Whey Protein and some yogurt in a shake

Lunch: Tangerine, 2 protein cookies

Snack: Zucchini Muffin

Dinner: 2 chicken legs, 1 head romain, Wasabi Mayo, sliced chicken (made up in Romaine leaf sandwiches)

Where is the bok choy?:D You usually have a shake for breakfast, just wondering if you felt as satisifed with the chicken leg and the almonds? A whole head of romaine, you rabbit!

from Aaron

B: 6 sugarfree chocolate sugarwafer cookies; coffee/splenda/whipping cream

S: 1 square Lindt 70% cocoa chocolate

L: 3 slices havarti cheese/about 3 oz. ham

D: ???

Well Aaron, you didn't get much to eat during the day, and until the harvati and ham, so how did you handle the day, did you want to eat everything in sight at dinner or how did you fare? Hopefully well, with lots of veggies cause I didn't see any all the way through--and A, Pizza is NOT a veggie!:D How's the littlest one?

From Bonnie
Breakfast - scrambled eggs and bacon
Snack - pecans
Lunch - leftover chicken, a few olives, high fiber crisp bread
Dinner - will probably be a crab cake, salad, and some other veggie. Monday means I get off at 8 and dinner is wherever my DH cares to take me to dinner (or he has to cook)

Homemade crab cake, if so please share that recipe! I love crab cakes. Bonnie the known parts of your menu look pretty darn good, little short on veggies and fruit, color is so good for you.

From Hawk
breakfast: 3 eggs scrambled coffee
Lunch:large salad with cut up lo carb veggies and turkey w/ranch dressing
snack : protien shake
Dinner : turkey and breen beans
snack rotien shake

Hawk, I know you were in distress yesterday and I know those feelings of TOM and causing those dastardly hormones to go crazy, but you maintained and did it, so that is just great. Take time to give yourself a deep breath and pat yourself on the back huh!

From Janis
Breakfast:
Waaaay too much coffee and 2 pieces string cheese (I, too, was hurried and harried yesterday morning)

Lunch:
The last of the leftover chili

Dinner:
Rotisserie chicken and steamed broccoli (I passed on the mashed potatoes and gravy the rest of the family ate)

Good for passing on those tater's! I don't know what the cycle of the moon was but quite a few of us went out the door without a decent breakfast. But you managed to stay in control Janis that is a good good thing!

Well I think we can do better, I know I can. Headed towards the kitchen right now for some breakfast, lunch is packed already, and dinner is planned, so today is looking better for me, how about all of you?

Have a great day on the program!

Thanks for the feedback.

Turns out we didn't go to the restaurant that makes to die for crab cakes, so instead I had a small sirloin steak and a skewer of shrimp plus a tossed salad and cole slaw. (their veggie choices weren't so hot either.)

I will dig out my crab cake recipe and post it.

I'll try to add more veggies.

Thanks Billie.

Re:"Where is the bok choy?:D You usually have a shake for breakfast, just wondering if you felt as satisifed with the chicken leg and the almonds? A whole head of romaine, you rabbit!"

Yesterday was hectic but I got the numbers in. I like my main protein "Shot" in the morning and didn't get it until break.

My wife's accupuncutist (Traditional Chinese) has been making great inroads on her health although her back will take at least 2 more months. He was pushing for no/little dairy so we are both going to give it a try (closer to Purist), her for an extended time and me for April, except for the little bit of yogurt I sometimes use in a shake.
He promised her darker hair, whiter teeth and improved skin within the first two months and somehow it has all happened. I've noticed it but several of her friends have as well.
Along with that is more "leafy greens" so we will begetting more of the various Choys since they are more tasty than spinich and a lot cheaper than most other green veggies except broccolli which we have often as well.

From Relief

B blue berry muffin, hot tea, chocolate protein shake ( canned blech)

L: huge salad: romaine and spinach, jicama, tomatoes, black olices, artichoke hearts, cucumbers and 6 ounces grilled steak chopped up. blasamic vinagrette ( homemade with evoo)

D: very late and was a ricotta spinach pie--new recipe; delicious but not enough protein.
I needed to add something but was too lazy. also not very hungry due to sampling new chocolate recipe I was working on--so too many kcals today as well.

Never too late! Love the day, love the color and the veggies and the lunch salad with the steak. I have made ricotta spinach quiches and really do like them for a brunch but you are right, for dinner probably more protein. The up side it was late! CHOCOLATE did you say Chocolate?!!!!

Billie, trust me...you don't EVEN want to know...

Let's just say that thankfully, the QUANTITY of the bad foods I ate was not too great.

Today is not much better...didn't have any breakfast (gee, I wonder why my wife isn't fixing my breakfast this week?? ;-) )

Things will settle down soon, though...and school will be out in just about 6 weeks, so I'll be a little more in control of my time again.
