"Your past is not your potential. In any hour you can choose
to liberate the future."
*Marilyn Ferguso
I thought this would be a good quote on a Monday especially for anyone who had a weekend that included not enough protein, or too many carbs, or no exercise, or whatever "Oh-oh" you want to fill in the blank with.
I have been watching the poll that Pat put up, and I hope you all take the time to fill it in, maybe two minutes, because it certainly would be a good way to let everyone know what we need to do in daily, weekly or monthly challenges. It seems right now the overwhelming leader is eating off program at the office or being tempted at home or other places with non program foods.
But our past, (yesterday, or five minutes ago) does not have to be our future. Making good choices today can really take away those yesterdays. Our bodies so quickly respond to changing behaviours that today we can start feeling better already.
I happen to have a great weekend with exercise and eating but there are far too many Mondays, or Tuesdays or...that I could have used this thought.
How was your weekend, are weekends problems for you or are you like others, me included, and find the carb trappings of the office the highest "accident zone" :)
Have a great Monday, start right now to make it a good day!
