Hi everyone,
A busy day for me. I hope I am productive as I haven't been lately. Still struggling with a cold that is sapping my energy.
Breakfast: yogurt and protein powder
Lunch: lc frozen dinner (chicken in garlic herb sauce with zucchini, summer squash and red peppers) with added chicken
Dinner: beef tips salad

B - Kipper with butter; raspberries & cream; cappuccino
L - Oatcake (cracker-type) with taramasalata; Greek salad; espresso
D - Beef casserole with green beans; glass of wine.

Colds make you miserable! Hey, I found another trick. I have not had a cold for over 5 years. I used to get colds all the time. One day in one of my blowing my nose, sniffling, coughing, sneezing, achy, days a friend said "You get a lot of colds, don't you? I used to too, but a few years ago I began talking Zinc and they quit.". Heck I thought, we sell Nature Sunshine Herbs and we have Zinc. So I began taking 2 zinc a day. And I kid you not....I have not had a cold in over 5 years. I attribute it totally to the zinc. I don't know what is in NS zinc, but it works!
Anyway....
B - Blue Bunny Yogurt and 1/2 apple (Great idea to put protein powder in it!)
L - Hamburger Quiche, and 1/2 grapefruit
D - Whatever is on my list to make

Hi, everyone. I've been MIA since the weekend because we were out of town, and then I got socked with the worst case of the flu I've ever had. I felt like someone had run me over with a truck. I'm back to work today, but needless to say, while I was sick, I didn't stick to PP -- all I wanted was broth and orange juice and water and chicken noodle soup. So that's what I had. I'm back on plan today -- I know I need to stop this on-plan/off-plan thing to make real progress, but I'm not feeling all that motivated right now. My husband and I are trying to get pregnant, and I think we missed the window this month since I was sick, which is kind of depressing... and we're in the middle of remodeling our kitchen, which makes things difficult... and, and, and... it's always something. Anyway, here are my menus:
B: LC WW tortilla w/ 1T peanut butter, coffee w/ SF creamer
S: .75 oz cheddar cheese
L: great big salad w/ a scoop of tuna salad on top -- cukes, cheese, peppers, olives, spinach, pickles, oil/vinegar
S: LC WW tortilla w/ 1T peanut butter
D: pork chops on the grill (marinated in soy sauce, slices of fresh garlic and ginger, and a little orange juice), tossed salad
S: ?? maybe some diet sprite on ice. :)
