Wow, I realize I've been quiet lately, but there's been no thread for this group since the first of the month?? :eek:

Here's my week so far, not a LOT of moving and definitely no shaking, but better than nothing and I hope to get on a roll now that I'm 2 days in a row!


Sunday: 10 minutes of my DWTS DVD - 5 minute warm up and 5 minute cool down sections - basically just stretching and limbering up but I can definitely feel it when I'm done.

Monday: 10 minutes DWTS (as above) as well as 14 minute walk after dinner with DD2 (was going for 15-20 but we finished the route in 14! I couldn't believe it used to take us 20+).

I'll hop on in here! Today I didn't do formal exercise but I walked around our 9 acre field and jumped on the trampoline with my son long enough to ha fatigued abs and thighs. Plus it's fun!

So far for today (Tuesday)

Did the Denise Austin Fit and Light that was on Lifetime today:

Yoga warm up, bit of "fat burners" as she calls it (cardio), upper body weight training, and yoga cool down. The show is 30 minutes, but I FFwd through the commercials so probably about 20 minutes of workout time or so.

I'm beat!


3 days and counting......

Will be going to the gym today, likely upper body and biking or tread mill for warm up.

I had trouble sleeping lasat night and I slept thru part of Denise Austin. My plan is a 3 mile walk to see the Amish's new baby belgians at 10:00.
I must move!

I did get that nice walk yesterday and jumped on the trampoline with the kids for about 30 min (this wears me out more than the 3 mile walk!)

To update my week thus far...

In addition to Denise Tuesday morning there was a 10 minute walk. Not structured exercise, just walking back to the car, but DH had to park quite a bit away from where we were and I timed the walk back out. He had dropped us before parking so just one way.

Wednesday didn't get anything done, afternoon was disrupted by DD1s major reaction to her allergy shot. Thankfully she's all better.

Nothing yet today, hoping to get something in, probably a walk.

Thursday ended up being a washout... had planned to walk after dinner, then DH got held up at work. By the time we got home from dinner it was too late (and dark) to go.

Did a 19 minute walk with some added arm movements for biceps and triceps with my girls today. Little bit of some uphill walking in there as well. That's the bad part about where I live, I can't go much further than 15 minutes without some significant hills which are a bit of a struggle for me still. :(

Today was DWTS DVD - warm up and cool down segements for a total of 10 minutes. I was joined by DD1 which made me very glad.
