Hey,it's 10.00, where is everyone?

Are we ready to replace the old negative images of how we were with new ones on how we want to become?

Slept in today, proud of myself at the late party last night, skipped all the off plan things. I am feeling great today, no carb hangover.

I am still losing inches, though the scale hasn't moved this week. Arms are looking toned and great.

Have a great day, all.

Hugs,
Claudette

Slept in too, Claudette, and then got busy. I goofed off too much yesterday and this morning the clutter from the week was all too evident! In a very short time I'm going to start practicing the new music for church tonight. Did I mention that the new priest decided that we should be doing different liturgical music, most of which we haven't done before? It's so that the congregation will be able to use just one book to sing from. We've been working for two years to get them to sing the beautiful pieces, and the ones in the book are rather dull. Oh well!

Had my breakfast shake and I'm starting to get hungry for lunch. I had a good day yesterday, but today will be better because the sun is out and it's almost fifty degrees outside! I'll take a little walk, then get out the hand weights. I might better do that before the music comes out or I'll let time get away from me.

Have a great day!

Wow, every one must really be busy today !! I can see it now, everyone out trekking around in the glorious sunshine and getting their exercise.
Or I think I saw something about a Northeaster hitting the east coast so maybe not. Hope you all will get some relief soon and lots of sunny days.

I got up early, but had to get a big bunch of laundry done, and clean my house. So I have been pretty busy this morning.

Next on my agenda is to take it easy and relax and do nothing else for the whole day. (Whoops, forgot I still have to get out there and walk this afternoon.) I will report in later and see what everyone else has been up to. Have a great day.

Claudette, thanks for starting the thread. Good news about the inches lost and the toned arms .

Carol, I hope the weather cooperates for your walk.

Karole, it's good to have you back with us :). I've no idea what the weather's like in Missouri - what sort of climate do you have? Hope you have good weather for today's walk, too.

Mitra, our weather for the past week or so has been way below average. I live in the southern portion of the state and we often go by the Arkansas temperatures. We have had an awful cold snap that just ruined all our beautiful dogwood blossoms (state tree) and wilted or blackened all the fruit tree blossoms as well. It got down to 18 degrees and was only in the 20's on a couple of nights while we were at the trailride. (Thank goodness for nice warm campers to sleep in) I don't know what the celsius reading would be for those temps, but it was very cool for here at this time of year. March was extra warm so of course all those trees and flowers were out and blooming and now are gone. We really don't know what will happen now-- whether some of the trees or plants are damaged permanently or not.
It is supposed to be in the high 60's or low 70's here tomorrow and that will be much more normal. I hope the wind will die down as it has been unusually windy lately too. (That's supposed to be our March thing) I have lots of sun today though so will dress for the wind while I walk and take in the sunshine.

Yes, Claudette, we do have wonderful times with our horses. Wish I could send you one of ours to ride for a while. I didn't start riding til I was 38 years old, but I loved it from day one. DH was raised on a farm and had a lot of knowledge and understanding of horses. Now we raise and train a couple of Fox trotters each year to sell. Right now we have only 7 but have had as many as 14.

Well, will check in later and I hope by then some others will have posted to tell us about their adventures of the week end. Byeee for now.

Good afternoon everyone....

It's been a good weekend, the weather here has been great....plenty of sunshine with temps in th high 50's...nothing like you guys are getting in the East.

My sinuses have been really bad this week. This is the first year I've ever had any trouble with sinuses other than during allergy season...its been really bad....My head feels like it's going to explode. The nettipot helps for a short while and none of the drugs work. May have to suck it up and head in for some antibiotics this week if it doesn't improve.

Nearly through the second day of being back on track. Hoping for the strength to make it through the week. I have my ticket bought for my upcoming OHIO trip May 4th, hopefully if nothing else that will help me through the rough patches.

Going to go soak my head or something...have a good one.
Michelle

You all ROCK...It is so great that you make the time and commit to posting here sooooo often. I don't ROCK...I roll - down hill at times and fail much to often to post here.

My week with the NEW PERSON has been interesting to say the least. If she would spend less time on the phone and emailing friends and family, maybe we could get more training in. I would never have the nerve on the first week on a new job to spend as much time on the phone as she is...deep sigh here!!!!!

I would say this past week has been a wash for me...I don't have a clue as to where I was at with counts and such. I know supplements and water were on target, but I'm not sure how I did on carbs. Sun..Ha...

Today, Michael and I got sun on our 30 min walk which was great....the snow is allllmost gone as the temps today were in the 50's. I know that today, my carbs were over 50, so it's not worth mentioning.

Tomorrow...tomorrow...I luv ya tomorrow...you're only a day awaaaaaaay!!!!!

See ya!!!!

Evening folks... another quiet day around here I see.

Lita so glad you stopped in again. Are you back with us or are things still crazy on your end?

My numbers for today:

Protein: 144 grams
ECCs: 34 grams
Water: 140 ounces (forced fluids because of yesterday)
Sun: was none to be had, but we need the rain
Exercise: lungs still not up to the task :(

I'm doing "double duty" at work this week so things will be very hectic for me. Will definitely have to make sure I plan and pack my food and plenty of it in case I get held up and can't leave when I normally do.

yes for the day, except sun. Wasn't any to be had. In fact, it rained quite a bit.

Please give me a yes for the day. Had just enough protein and only 20 ecc. Had my dollop of sunshine twice today, walked twice as well, 30 min. each time and I got my water in too. All in all a very good day.

Just got a call and will have to sub tomorrow. Shoot, I was so hoping to have another day to get things done around here. Oh well, there is always another day to get at house work--why do tomorrow what I can do the day after !!
I probably won't get to check in til late in the p.m. tomorrow but I will take a lunch and my water and I will get in lots of sunshine outdoors with the kids (and plenty of exercise too) Take care.

Well, I got my walk in the sun, protein, carbs all okay. Not sure about water, because I didn't count the glasses, but I think I'm short, so I'll take a NO there.

I think good weather's here at last! :) See you all tomorrow!

Karole, I'm old enough to remember Farenheit, so don't worry about the translation. It sounds pretty cold.

Shadow, good to see you :).

Michelle, sinus problems are wretched :(. I hope you can get it cleared up soon.

Mary, we like to hear from you even on the bad days. You're doing a lot to support others in their efforts to improve their eating, through your shop. Don't put yourself down because you can't be everywhere :).

Becca, looks like you had a great day. And you're getting a good start planning for you week .

Max, maybe research can find some benefit from spending time in the rain ;).

Karole, another good day

Carol, on track with protein, carbs and sun sounds pretty good.

Good work, Stellar :).

Nice cheerleading, Sherry .

Lita so glad you stopped in again. Are you back with us or are things still crazy on your end?
My visits are going to be quite sporadic for a long time to come :(. But, I promise I'm gonna do my best to do a feedback Tuesday for you this week, even if that's the only post I get accomplised!
