Hi, Y'all,
I wanted to start this thread for this week so I could post before I have to leave this afternoon.
Today, an aerobic/toning tape, upper body weights w/ resistance bands, core work, abd/obl/buns.
Anyone else?
If anyone knows how to move it to the top, be my guest as I don't know how.

Today is a much needed REST day, Claudette... yay!
Way to go on getting us started.
As for keeping it at the top, you need a magic wand... ;)

Hubby and I took a brisk 1-1/2 mile walk around the local college loop. This was the first walk of the season. We will be increasing it to twice around within the next week or 2. (assuming snow and cold are gone).

Oh, Bonnie, that's fabulous... SPRING is here!!! :D
We are to be SUNNY & mid-60's for 6 of 7 days this week! WHEE!!! :D
Sherry
I went to the gym...and I had to actually GET in my car and DRIVE there since the gym is right beside my workplace.
BUT I wanted to get in at least three resistance days this week...
Can't decide if I'll sneak out today or not, we'll see what the day brings since it's officially a "day off" day.
I will say this...I'm doing 80lbs on the ab crunch machine, and it's a WORKOUT, but I can do it!
HOWEVER, I feel a TOUCH nauseous when I'm done...could be from all my stomach surgeries, but it's the strangest thing!!
Anyone else ever have this?
It's not ANYTHING that's going to make me STOP though!!

Hey, All... :)
Leftover headache from yesterday, so only did 4 miles today, instead of the usual six... But, I did SOMETHING.

Did not do much yesterday - walked oh maybe half a mile or so, strolling. I don't think it counts.
Why? Because FoxyBoy and I walked all over Hollywood and Los Feliz on Saturday, and my legs were tired. I don't know how far we walked, but it was from about 11 til 6, more walking than not. All over the place!!!
Had technical difficulties this morning so I had to catch the dash bus (which means I only walk about 3 blocks to the bus stop) but I'm going to try to get at least the "up the hill" in tonight.

OK so I did get up the hill on Monday night
Down the hill and up the hill from an extra bus stop - makes it a mile and a half up the hill, and a total of about 40 minutes yesterday
Made it down the hill this morning, gonna try to do the extra stop thing tonight, since I feel like I need a little something extra.
Go go M&S team :D

On 3/14 I did the Leslie Sansone 2 mile walk and the strength portion of Denise Austin's Power Zone workout. I'm really not wild about the Denise Austin dvd, but haven't found anything else that I particularly like. I'm just checking out a couple dvds at a time from the library until I find something I like well enough to buy.

Hey ALL... :)
Claudette, hope you enjoyed your walk yesterday. I did trails today, and they are still wet, with some SNOW still sitting in piles where the sun doesn't hit... and it's been in the 60s/70s all week except one day!
I got in six, maybe a bit more today. I "did it all by mine own self" as Mr. Biggest used to say! I kept a steady pace, brisk but not "pushin' it", and cut 20 minutes off the times my GF's go with me. In 9 more weeks, school will be over, and they won't be able to walk... when August rolls around, I'll tell 'em they HAVE to keep up, or I need to go by "mine own self". :)

Seven mile bike ride! I am SOOO MUCH STRONGER than this time last year! I rode the whole way, sitting down, even the last long hill, I pedaled the whole thing! I was sooo excited... still am actually! :D
Not only that, but I was not really ever winded... AND, I TOTALLY impressed Mr. Biggest when I told the route I walked the other day, making it in 2 hours! THAT doesn't happen very often... the impressing part, that is!!!
Am I feelin' it? Somewhat, but mostly because of yesterday's walk. Did it kill me? NO!!! :D
