Okay - I just can't decide !
First, I must say my hat is off to all of you for a fantastic month and for being such a great group to lead in a challenge :)!
Second, out of 32 recruits (not counting myself), about only 1/2 of the list reported in on at least a semi-regular basis. Of those 16/17 who checked in, only 3 met their goals for the entire month.
Since I said it would come down to exercise effort and Monday menus, I did take that into consideration.
The problem is, all 3 who met their goals also had great Monday menus and challenged themselves to excel in their exercise efforts.
Therefore...

The Sweethearts of the Month award goes to:
(in alphabetical order)
'Becca - 'Becca challenged herself to beginning an exercise routine and she met all of her exercise goals despite going back to work, battling asthma, dealing with a sick daughter, and everything else that transpired. Her Monday menus had color and variety. She even figured out how to get around eating at different times during the day to accomodate her new job which helped her to stay within her eating goals. She may not have reported a great weight loss - but since developing an exercise habit is very tough in itself, I think that speaks volumns that she managed to do it with everything else she had going on :D!
Hawk - Lynn has pushed through the pain to increase her exercise, lose weight, and lower her BP. She lost 4#, several inches and lowered her BP all while fighting headaches, allergies and extreme pain. She not only loved herself this month - but she reached out to love others, too . She stayed on track with her eating - and while she didn't check in every Monday, I know how she eats, so I know she was right on target every day.
Pelhamga - Pam is our quiet one :). So I can't tell you much about her journey - just that she met all of her goals for the month, and even more importantly, she did not battle one bladder infection this month. I think that just shows the great month she had, even if she's not much of a chatter ;). Her Monday menus also had a lot of color and variety.
So congratulations 'Becca, Hawk and Pel !!!!!

Congrats to all three. Shining example to all of us and all that. Rock on.
*mutter to self* Stupid Manufactured Greeting Card Holiday, blow ~$200 bucks and lose the challenge as my reward! *end muttering*
Don't Stop Thinking about Tomorrow, Don't Stop, It'll Soon Be Here, Don't Stop Thinking about Tomorrow, Yesterday's Gone, Yesterday's Gone
In fact, it's day 2 of March already.
And for everyone who really committed,
Don't Stop. Believing. Hold On to that Feeling! Street Light. People! Whoa-o-oa!
Well, I dunno what the streetlight has to do with anything, but, People! Don't Stop Believing.*
*Funny Story. Was talking to my brother the other day. He's 12.5 years younger than me, and in a frat (that isn't sanctioned by the college he doesn't even attend anymore). Journey's Don't Stop Believing is his Frat's semi-official song. They sing it 3-10 times every time they get together to drink. I'm betting Neil Schon would like a royalty on that action.
